4/8 O8 with a half kill runs pretty much everyday. $6 drop though.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a bigger game next week. The Prince of Docness likes to play and he'll be trying to get something in the 40-80 to 100-200 range going. Also something like 20-40 is possible. Weird stuff happens during the Shooting Stars.

Don't know who that is, you'll have to point him out if I see you. I'd play up to 20/40 (or whatever other non-HE limit game they can get running!). Should be fun next week.

I am sure the locals would be more than happy to explain the finer points of the game to you.

Cool, post if you do the dinner thing again.

Went by tonight, over 100 still left in the $2k, which means 10+ tables unavailable for cash. The 4/8 Omahaha list showed 20 deep (electronic board only displays 20), no game running.

Good playing with you today. I was the Asian "gambler" guy that showed the T-high river bluff-raise on a board of K-J-3-K-3 in the 40.

Is the big Omaha going to run this week? I will come down for that, if someone tells me when (PM okay.).

Heard recently in Bay 101: Pat Lyons saying "Matt Savage should make me a Shooting Star next year".

Bumping - Im heading to SJ for training in a couple weeks and wanted to get some rookie california questions out.

1) So NL is in place now?
2) Hows wait times during the week?
3) I might not have a rental car... Is there other options?
4) Booze - standard charge?

Thanks for any info!

1) Yes
2) What game? Assuming 2/3/5 NL, probably 5-15 min. during the day and 20 min. in the evenings on a weekday, I would guess. Shouldn't be bad on a weekday.
3) Lightrail gets close as do buses. Check out VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) for schedules.
4) Yes. Only coffee/iced tea/water is free at Bay101.

two places to stay within about a four iron range of the club. and if you plan on boozing it up while you are playing bring extra money you will need it.

I know of one that's a pitching wedge. The other is more like a par 5. A four iron?

This is sea level. Maybe a four iron goes 600 yards in MT.

Think "frozen fairways". That, or Ray is thinking of getting a great roll along the asphalt on Bering.

a four iron down the road will make the extended stay. and to the hawthorn suites a seven iron off the side of one of the motor homes will get you right in there. y0u may have to hood the face for that one.
