Time to revamp already? Whatever happened to KISS? Too many hoops to jump through for a pittance. And not delivering on Tournament Guarantees? Did they cancel this morning's 11 AM? Weather excuse?

$2 drop on a 1/1, 1/2 or 2/4/6 limit? Talk about rake. Know that BBJ is a big draw especially since the three rooms participate, and all have a chance when it hits, a lot of dead money. But ... how many of you have gotten a share of the BBJ's? Has to be -EV. Raise the comps and give it away that way. And Parking is really that expensive on weekends?

Have been watching Bravo, and the max cash game tables running is hovering around 10 since the "soft opening". I take it that it is a soft opening.

Sounds like a lot of empty tables so far. Probably the slowest time of the year and this winter is not getting a lot of people out of the house. When Grand Opening, isn't the object to get seats in the seats? Giveaways always help. How about a car?

When is the first Big WSOP event going to be played in the room? Is the WSOP Circuit Championship going to be held at WWW? They may be looking forward to this? But in the meantime it seems like the new WWW is stubbing their toes.

The few reviews are not motivating. Give us a great reason to come to Bally's.

it already sounds like this room is fubar'ed, i.e., anyone with a clue is going to go play somewhere else

makes absolutely no sense to start pissing off players by not honoring guarantees

good job

I played cash quite a while at WWW last Friday and liked the room. Would be a shame to develop the wrong kind of name for themselves in the first week they open. It won't bother me that much if they screw it up though, I am fine playing at GN and I like not paying for parking.
You wont have to pay for parking at wild west just ask for a voucher to get out and they will be happy to give you one. The tournament last night and today were canceled due to the threat and eventual incliment weather just as the borgata canceled theirs. We will continue to guarantee them just as we have with the all the other guarantees that we have been running for the past year.

Thanks. Will it be possible to update Bravo to reflect if a tournament is going to be canceled? I would assume, yeah I know never assume, that it would be easier to update that than it would be to take a hundred calls asking if a tournament is going to go or not. I really wish you guys the best. I enjoyed the room Friday. Well run and the dealers knew what they were doing.

Yet you had at least 35 or so players to play the gtd at around 7pm. Whats going to happen when the 25k's roll around? Will you see 30 people registered and pull the plug again?

One more thing, please tell all your floor people to have a little more respect and common courtesy to the players/customers.

Yet even when called, they said it would without a doubt run as planned.

First I appologize if you were treated poorly there is NEVER an excuse for this and if you see me next time you are here I would love to discuss it further with you.

30 players is well overstated. at 6:50 there were 6 players and only 12 total registered for the 7Pm. I am sure this was due to the threat of the weather.

I will when ever possible as I did this morning post on Bravo if our tournaments are canceled due to weather.

i think that ACDan had a good explanation based on the weather

however, if i come down there on Saturday to play in a $25,000.00 guarantee tourney and only 50 people register, if the guarantee is not honored, i will never come back

ACDan - Can you throw in some weekend room comp promos for NYC players? What will it take to do so?

Thanks!

It will be hard for anything less than a 2-5 player for the weekend but if you play many hours and I can get you a room I will. Come see me and I will see what I can do for you. Make sure you ask for me if you do not see me as I may be in my office.
We have had a 2-5 no limit game every day so far and I am sure if you ask any of them they will tell you they have been treated well. I have taken care of thier meals as well as top shelf drinks. Parking is always on us. All you have to do is earn 25 tier points which is only a couple hours of play or just ask and we will give it to you.

Thanks Dan. I will stop by next time I am down.

I certainly need the incentive!

What is the structure of the $25K guaranteed weekend tourneys? Are there antes? Thanks.

You are talking about a very long walk from ANYWHERE in Bally's or Caesars. Heck, it's a far walk from the mountain bar. It is only convenient if you are coming from the boardwalk, which I don't think is going to be most people.

There is a basic lack of honesty here with respect to the reduction of rake back.
Elimination of the free roll, reduction of the high hand promotion, and the lack of
Availability of comped rooms, not to mention tbe practical difficulties in getting drinks or meals, i don't Get the impression most of you posting have actually played In the room

Not the case at all!! In fact, it is the rapid changing nature of the promotions that is causing all the problems. I've just been trying to post the most updated information to assist all players. Just check Bravo and you will see something listed differently daily. Hopefully Dan can get this fixed and let us all know where things stand. I'm not happy as well with the reductions, but please don't take this as some sort of intentional misleading!!

the high hand promotion has been reduced to $200 for quads, please call the room before you post more erroneous information on this subject. 1-2 players have an easier time getting comped weekend rooms at both the Borgata and the Taj, players who play over 200 hours a month have seen their rake-back reduced by $100 a month, the free-roll has been eliminated until further notice, poker players have had all sorts of practical problems in availing themselves of drinks and meals no matter what limits they have been playing at...It is misleading for you to keep posting wrong information without having the courtesy to call the room and check your facts, the bravo poker live is not up-to-date and can not be relied on for a FAQ . Everyone playing in the room is asking the same question, why does there continue to be a $2 drop to the promotion box with the promotions being reduced significantly or eliminated entirely...

with the occasional dabble in the 10/20 OE game, i have no reason to go to any CET property anymore.. would rather play at GN where im literally treated like a king. 7 days a week.

The Boardwalk is a shorter walk than from the Mountain Bar?? Starting from the Boardwalk, one walks right PAST the Mountain Bar in order to get to the poker room. So the Mountain Bar is closer.

I'm sorry that you think the new poker room is so remote. But I really don't see it as being more remote than the old location. Less so, in fact.

Also, I've seen the combining of the 2 rooms (Caesars and Bally's) into one as a good move for years. And I know that the top people in poker management positions have been talking about doing this for at least the past 7 or 8 years. It was upper management, and questions over whether Caesars or Bally's would have control and credit for the revenue, that was the stopper.

I for one am happy that those issues have been resolved, and that the new room is open. I just hope that CET management (those way above Dan) give Dan the necessary marketing tools and financing.
