I hope not. I went there a couple months ago and the room was pretty full. Maybe that was the ac regs chasing the HH or whatever but we had a fun game going.

I don't know what you are talking about. You must never go. I was there yesterday before leaving , 4pm , they had over ten tables going. I know its not your borgata , but its still a very viable poker room.

Life is all about perception. A room hidden from regular casino floor traffic, isn't visited by any one looking for a clean room that spreads more than 2/4 LH 1/1 NLH and the occasional 1/2 for good measure is not viable in my eyes. Crappy comps, pay for parking, and the tournament tables look like VFW hall tables. CET is a crappy poker representative in AC. Hence bye bye Showboat/Caesars. Harrah's is the best of the lot by a mile. Compound that with 3/4 of the dealers not speaking great English and it's a no brainer. Not really viable unless you're OMC. Then of course it is.

Not to mention they literally have the worst chairs of all time. But the two way game is a plus there.

Occasional 1-2 ? I only play there like 5-8 hours a month , but there is always a 1-2 nl with 500 max going , at least 3 or more after noon. Comps are similar to most other rooms. I think you are reaching , but whatever floats your boat.

Im not debating with you. I played at CET properties for years. They just could give a **** less about poker players. Borgata or the Golden Nugget do. Not a bunch of hidden fees and BS. With the exception of weekends its a reg fest at 1/2 there. You're not getting your stacks in the middle there often. Plus 2/5 doesn't exist. I imagine you meant you play 50-80 hrs a month there. God bless. Seems very -EV to me.

There is something off about that Bally's room. There's like 60 tables in the place, never seen more than 10 going. Ceilings are extremely high, the walk there is very depressing. People used to complain about the location of the revel poker room? Jeez

Trop room is a dump. Ballys is a very close 2nd. Wish Nugget would gain some momentum and traction...
2nd best room in AC......

I haven't been to the Trop's room in years, so I wouldn't know. I will agree on the Golden Nugget but to me, it has to be something with management if they can't even get 3 tables going a day. Wednesday, their big promotional day, they have game their games breaking before midnight. It's insane to me.

Splash pot is 11-11. 3x comps 12-12. Highhand 2-2. Its a stupid setup.... That room used to be high limit slots. They flip-flopped spots 2+ years ago. Hopefully something changes over the coming months. Room can't survive much longer imo.

I hope you're wrong. My 2nd favorite place to play. Probably coning down tom to stay for a few days. I'll most likely see you by 2ish or so. Not hitting the Borgata till Thursday afternoon.

I would think they would do something drastic or extreme if the current promotions aren't working. Get rid of the comp multipliers, get rid of the splash the pot and just make the high hands 2pm to 2am with no qualifier. Whoever wins spins the wheel. Bet you word would spread pretty quickly and that room would be full.

If they don't do something, you're right, they can't have much longer. It's frustrating to watch.

Bally's room is an absolute dump which attracts the same type of clientele. I feel like the bums on the boardwalk come up with some cash and go sit at ballys and play 1-1. This room had potential but its clear its not going anywhere but the toilet

yes ,my point is that they should run steps and and other tournaments to vegas they do claim to be the wsop poker room. also i think its a very nice room as a poker player i like being away from the main casino its such a huge space on the boadwalk it could be a great room.

it's about the most obvious marketing tool that is so stupidly being UNutilized in all of big business in the world.

they bought the WSOP brand.

it ALWAYS brings in players and income.

and yet they don't use it.

WSOP entrance prizes almost single-handedly made online poker sites successful.

yet these guys won't do it in any of their hundreds of poker rooms outside of vegas. even when everyone is begging for it.

it's like there is a marketing manager who was against using WSOP as a marketing tool in the first place and now he/she is making it a point not to use it.
