They should have let it go one more Saturday at the old guarantee/structure/buyin. There were 4 $25Ks over 2 days, so I think there may have just been too many options diluting the pool in each specific tourney. Now that there would only be one, there's a better chance it could have hit the guarantee.

To those who have looked into it, is the structure the same, just with shorter levels?

I agree. I rarely play, but I was ready to drive in so I could play the $25K guarantee (in 4 years, I have more posts about this room, just based on the hype and wanted to try that tournament out.)

Funneling all the interest into one big tourney a week might have made it a bigger draw, especially now that Spring is approaching, particularly for casual players like myself. Oh well.

How can management explain a $2 bbjp drop in AC? It's a dead town.....plus the 2/4 and 1-1 players cant afford that off the game
4 and 2 or 5 and 1 it is the same rake. This way the 2 goes back to the players. ML is 5 and 1. I get better rates than that and I only play poker.

yes..that is too bad..i was planning on going saturday to play...the only reason was the structure..the starting stack...and the guarantee...no casino in ac...other than borgata a few times a year...does a casino give the recreation player time to play a pro level tournament at an average buyin..its a shame..won't be going to ballys at all now

I was asked by many to speed it up just a bit so the blind levels have gone back to 20 minutes. The blinds will stay the same. I will also add in a Dinner break which was also requested by many. As always I will listen to the masses and make adjustments accordingly.

Give the 10K a shot. We went just a little too high too fast. I have no problem putting the 25K back as wee build up a bit for the season. I just need to step it up for now. I hope you understand and give us a shot.

AC DAN
alot of us did give WWW a shot just to be disappointed. As most of us would like to see some competition with borgata. But it seems that you guys just can not do it.
Look at what we get over there why leave ??
Also remember how many months borgata paid overlays, do you think it was easy to get players to the bayside to play, i remember all the TAJ employees saying no one would ever go all the way over there to play.

its not like this is your and cet's first poker room we really expected much more from this room
and if you continue to take more away i just dont see anyone coming back.

no we r not the same person

and if this is the best just close the room now!

i guess you can cancel and lower tournament guarantees.reduce high hand and other promo's
and say we are doing our best or we are new is just BULL**** excuses..
no your not new, CET and DAN have been in the poker business.
If you are happy with poor service poorly run and lower guarantee tournaments you can continue to play there.

but what we are saying here is get with the program if we didnt care we would not say anything

look at the other rooms who did similar things,,, GN spent months getting the 5k guarantee to have no overlay just when it was going good closed the room and reopened in new area and guess what no players
TAJ thought they were the best and no one would leave = look at that room now DONE no tourneys (they would get 120-150 every fri and sat at 12am,,no big $10k tourney also)
hilton DONE
Trop closed half the room for slots DONE (10k $100 buy in every weekend about 150 players NOW NOTHING)
Revel we all know what happened there
Caesars was not a bad little room but GONE

THERE ARE THE WSOP ROOM ACT LIKE IT

CET bought Binion's to be the leader in poker and I think they have done a poor job over all and in AC in particular. Too bad for us and them.

Have zero clue why anybody would try to become a new bigger room when revel couldn't make it.......used to love ballys back in the day that 1-3 game was unique

Now the newness factor has worn out.....sad

I enjoyed the room when I haves played the last few weeks. I think with improved cocktail service and the tournament structure/buy in they will do well.

Trying to compare the room to Revel is dumb. Revel never put the effort in, forced you to walk 300 miles to get to the room, and madd their entire site non smoking. Fail.

At least they are taking feedback, incorporating the feedback, and communicating with the players.

Side note: I walked into Caesers from valet, I went up the escalator, a Caesers employee... Not sure what type dealers asked did you need help? I asked where the poker room was...he said oh, let me show you...and proceeded to walk me to the room. I thought that was great.

Bad Beat hit tonight. I think the payouts were $110K to loser, $70k to winner, $1600 to others at table and $750 to all other players. Numbers might not be exact but they are close.

If you are intending on playing, then just earn 25 tier credits and you'll get a free parking voucher. For poker, you just need one hour of play and I think that applies to all CET properties.
