Haha everyday? 3,5 tends to run more on weekend afternoon for sure. Hard to catch it though. I user bravo to see when a good list is being formed then try to make it out then.

I usually play weeknights cause of work and I don't think I ever had to worry about a bad table. I'm usually wearing a rams hat if you see me day what's up.

Only Fridays for 3/5 and late night once in awhile.

Been playing more at aviator at home games but even that is pretty low. Action is dead at GWC. People don't even buy in full at 1/3

True, I'm usually the only one who buys in full. The players are still awful though. Not sure if I've played with you but I'm usually there every Friday night.

dead thread but GWC picking back up. 1/3 has pretty decent action and seeing more tables. **** we had 3 the other day and 3/5 ran today. Had a session not too long ago where I left with close to 3k and another player left with over 3k a few hours later on the same 1/3 table hahah.

I took some time off to play in private games and other things keeping my busy but been playing there again 1-2 times a week now. if u see me im the guy spewing chips left and right hahaha.

Whatever happened to the glory days at Golden West?
Only a few years ago there was a regular Monday night $5/10 game and $5/5 running every other day.
What happened to all the action?

Did everyone just start playing at the cave and other private games?

u play the thursday? a reg that i know been telling me about that game. we had a 5/t last week on thursday, 16 people on list but didnt run at all man the past two days. 3/5 still random weekly game.

i always think of making the drive but than i can go to down south for same time.

I played at Golden West once before the covid shutdown. I was driving to LA from the bay area and wanted some poker. Where I stay in LA, I am still about an hour north of the card rooms.

Pretty well run room, 1/2 was 40-100 buyin, 1/3 I think was 100-300 buy in which is a bit better than the average buyins for Southern California. Tables all 9 handed. The drop was 5+1 per hand I think.
They ran a high hand of the hour jackpot when I played which is nice. Seemed around 15-20 tables on a Friday night.
