I'm guessing it's been awhile since you've been there.

Caesar's poker room closed back in February when it combined with Bally's in the Wild Wild West to form a new room. It is listed on Bravo. The 1-1 game as well as the 1-2 games both run regularly. Good luck.

Ty for your answer. I was unaware it
Closed because on wsop.com it says you can deposit at caesars, I just assumed they meant in the poker room.

No, it's at the main cage. if you do you have to go to the house phones to the right of the cage first, verbally do the transaction there, then go to the cage.

Caesar's room actually closed in 2013. The Bally's room was moved to the Wild West in February.

All casinos have specials for new players. If there's any place you don't have a card from, go there and you'll likely get some free slot play. Sometimes they will do this for inactive players as well. (Usually a year) Check each casinos website.

Why would you nitpick this? Caesars closed their room expressly to join their traffic with ballys in the middle building.

Bare Exposure or Stiletto for some good site seeing and its BYOB. Both have bars that sell beer right next store if needed although you pay a premium. Better dances at Stiletto.

I wasn't aware that answering someone's question correctly was considered nitpicking. Thank you for setting me straight. I will try to be less accurate in my future answers.

Cheapest bus into A.C from NYC? I'm getting 25 bucks a ticket from Greyhound, wondering if there's a cheaper alternative

You may not know this, and I'm not absolutely certain it is still done, but it used to be if you took a Greyhound to AC and got off at a casino you would get free slot play of around $25, making the trip basically free.

Is that one way or round trip? Greyhound's Lucky Streak line lists $37 for round trip. They also mention casino bonuses but are kind of vague on the details. They say to check with the casinos. I know the Bally's site has bus info. I assume others do too. There are private companies running busses from the Philly area with special free play deals. I assume there are similar buses from NYC. Do a web search.

I would provide more details, but I've been informed that's considered nitpicking.

So are there any other decent poker rooms in AC besides the Borgata?

Define "decent".
In terms of number of tables and variety of games going at any given time, you can't beat Borgata. All the rooms will have 1-2 NL and 2-4 or 2-6 LHE. If that's what you're looking for, I think Harrah's has a nice room. Not as big and busy as Borgata, usually has a few tables going during the day, more on weekends and evenings. It's comfortable, relatively quiet. If you're looking for a wider selection of games, there's only Borgata.

By any reasonable definition of "decent", NO.

CET properties offer a bait and switch room offer (play 4 hours - you get a room - no you don't!), and are openly biased to their regs (they let Diamond Club holders jump the wait line).

The Trop doesn't even try promoting their room. The Golden Nugget has close to zero traffic.

Megabus tickets range from $35-40 roundtrip and you also receive the $20 or $25 free slot play coupon to Ballys. I've always found Megabus to be cheaper than Greyhound.

I was at the Trop this weekend. Good action I thought. 6-8 1-2 and a 2-5. Some grinders might be making the rounds since they have that play 120 hours. Get back 300.
