I hear ya but I've taken the walk from Harrah's to the Borgata along the water and it's a nice walk during the day time. I'd probably uber back from Borgata to Harrahs if it was night time.

Leaning on the Trop right now.

You definitely don't have to drive from Harrah's to Borgata. Walking is arguably even faster.

Walking ain’t faster, you could take the jitney or drive if you got free parking at both spots

It might be faster but it's a long walk carrying a lot of cash on me, not that I'm scared but I would drive around a mall for 15 min if it means I don't have to walk for 12.

Most convenient option is the jitney imo. Cuz the car you gotta go all the way to the garage and the walk is a long ass walk lol

I've only had to stay there a couple times because I couldn't get a room at the borgata, but the check-in process at Harrah's is a disgrace people have to lug their luggage down that skinny escalator from the parking garage, not that I can't do it but I see a lot of older people struggling, then you have to walk through the whole casino to check in.

And the kiosks damn near don’t work. Meanwhile with borgata you could check in off your phone, waaaaaayy better. But borgata has not shown me any comps as of late

I still prefer to check in at the desk to request my favorite rooms and also try to get an upgrade to a fiore suite. I even let people go in front of me to get the right girl some times too.

The check in kiosks at Harrah’s are the biggest joke. Never work. Ever.
I use the mobile app check in for Borgata every trip. Always put the earliest time for arrival, my rooms are always ready by 10am-11aM the latest. So easy, park the car, and go right upstairs.

I have no dog in the kiosk-at-Harrah's fight since I haven't stayed there in ages, but the kiosks are usually good at the Trop and at Caesar's, though there are far less of them at Caesar's, and you can pre-check in using the Rewards app or your PC however you still need to use a kiosk or get in line to get your keys.

Anyone know what Caesars is working on at the Wild West Casino?

A large area in front of the sports book is blocked off (area where the connect four was, small taco restaurant, etc).

Hey Mother,
I wish I could tell you they are working on a 20 Table Poker room in that area …However ….they are just replacing the carpet. The old Poker room is now officially a storage area as they took everything out of it and are using the area as a assembly line area for the sportsbook tables that are going in.. Looks like we are stuck with only 3 poker rooms in AC for a little bit. However if I am a gambler, and I am, I will bet by summer you will see a small room on the other side of the boardwalk. My opinion, The Nugget will never re-open, way too much competition from the Borgata and Harrah's and and no one wants to work in a dead room.

So you think Ocean will bring back their poker room, huh? That would awesome.

That room was great, unfortunately they've put stuff in both the roped off section (became high limit slot area) and the old poker room/blackjack tournament area (became a VIP lounge). So I'm doubtful it will come back -- no real place for it on the gaming floor anywhere.

Almost assuredly not a poker room.

There have been no listings for staffing a room. Until that happens, it's safe to say there won't be one.

Logically Caesar’s got one on each side of AC, they probably content with that

Hey guys, which casino in AC has the best chips? We all know it is not Borgata

I want good Paulson chips to play with at work since I have my own office and won’t be distracting anyone

I’ll get a stack of $1s (i’m a baller)

Ocean or Hard Rock for the newest? Singles from most of the others will be grungy and worn. Everywhere except Borgata is Paulson, no? Maybe not the Harrah's metal-center ones. Trop/Resorts/Ballys/Caesars seem a bit busy design-wise to have just hanging around.

I’m gonna clean the **** out of them, whenever I get them…the only place i play in AC is bore-gata, and those chips are horrendous…maybe i’ll go to the boardwalk and check out all the casino’s chips…i’ve never even set foot in Oceans or Hard Rock yet

The only $1 chips in the city that suck are bore-Gata’s. The rest of them are pretty much the same. And easy to shuffle. However Trop’s chips are older so most of them are all different sizes and shapes. Lol.

+1 to Ocean, love the chips there, sad they closed the poker room (and that they half-shoed me at blackjack, but that's a totally different story).

Not sure how many you'll be able to get but if you go to the cage at a slow time they might be willing to sell you a rack. Otherwise can probably bounce around blackjack for a bit and just buyin for $475 in green, $25 in white, rinse and repeat until you've got what you want.

Who is tier matching these days? Is it worth the schlep down to to the shore to match Caesars Diamond?
