There was 53 games at Borgata up until about 8pm Saturday night when I was there. Games break quickly when promos end etc. this is the new norm.

There was a major winter storm in PA and NY this weekend. A lot of people stayed home. 19 tables is not typical for a Sat night

Probably the easiest airport in universe to fly in and out of...still have 10 or so casino junket flights.

If there was demand, there would be flights.

A.c. isn't much different than it was 25 years ago.. outside is nicer if anything.

It’s Philly unless you live in Myrtle Beach and want to fly Spirit airlines direct to AC.

I think you were trying to make a joke here there are many cities that fly direct to the AC airport, which is technically in Egg Harbor Township.

Fort Lauderdale and Fort Myers are two good direct airports that fly direct to AC airport.

My wife used to make annual trips to Chicago and it was cheapest for her to fly from the AC airport using Spirit so I would drive her there from Philly and pick her up. Was a nice excuse to play while in town.

The Atlantic City Airport is plenty big enough. The issue isn't the size of the airport, but the demand. There aren't enough people in south Jersey to justify airlines having flights there. Atlantic City isn't a big enough draw for people to fly to in large numbers, and there is little else in the area. Plus Newark Airport to the north and Philadelphia Airport to the west aren't that far and draw residents in central and west New Jersey to them, leaving AC Airport redundant to most of New Jersey. Frankly, I'm surprised even Spirit operates out of there (they must have a great deal). And given the few direct flights they offer, flying with them is a hassle. I live in the area and would love to just drive over there and hop on a plane. But as it is, I'd rather drive to Philly or Newark for a direct flight to Vegas or LA or wherever.

This. I've lived in very central locations in Tokyo, London, NY, Hong Kong and Boston, and driving / parking is a massive PITA, and public transportation in most of those cities is excellent.
Why bother with buying a car, insurance, tax, parking fees, horrible traffic, not being able to drink when I go out etc, when public transportation is so convenient (most of the time)?
I never bothered with a car when I lived downtown, never even bothered with a driver's license for well over 20 years.
Only got a driver's license after getting a family and moving to a house outside the city.

I personally hate driving - wasted time behind the wheel that you can't spend doing anything else.
Autonomous-driving cars can't get here fast enough.

I'm pretty sure Harrah's does...if you can get it.

Your best bet is to call them and inquire.

General PSA on comped rooms:

For those booking nights in AC (more specifically, a Caesars resort), it sometimes makes sense to wait until almost a week before your stay to see if your comps get better.

I got Harrahs comped for this coming Thursday-Friday but it was showing $$$ if I stayed Saturday night for a long time. I looked again this morning and BAM…Saturday is now comped too.

Keep your eyes open on your comps.

I've been doing this at the Borgata for the past year. Sometimes I check it several times per day and see a room would open up, but if you don't grab it quick sometimes it's gone when you check again later. They unlock rooms as it becomes closer to the date if they didn't fulfill their projections for that day yet.

The south tower for the poker room, north or south for the boardwalk.
