I've always though the ElDorado was a "hooker" spot. Maybe times have changed.

There were no hookers when we were there that we saw. There wasn't much of anything, it was a Monday night and very quiet.

Hookers don’t work on Mondays

The ones who do work on Mondays are fully booked due to labor shortage

This was posted in the Bally's Wild Wild West thread as seen at Harrah's.

This means the Trop will be the only poker on the boardwalk unless the very faint rumors that Ocean wanted back in the game prove true (I am dubious).

It also means that the Borgata will have less competition for their poker supremacy in AC than the Taj had before the Borgata opened.

Poker supremacy in AC is not worth much anymore tbh. Wild wild west only had a few tables of low stakes poker. If anything, Tropicana will see much more benefit than Borgata.

Im sorry maybe for the stupid question....

What is the ranking for most poker table running in Atlantic city by casino?
(Im guessing Borgata is #1 not sure).
#1 ?
#2 ?
#3 ?
#4 ?

Thanks!

I get my info from the Bravo app.

If you don't want to use the app, they also have a website.

Traveling to AC for the first time in over a decade later this month. I called Harrah's poker room to find out if they still offer poker room rates. The gentleman I spoke with said they do, even on weekends (based on room availability), but I have my doubts.

Can anyone here let me know the chances of getting the poker room rate at Harrah's AC on a Friday night?

Doesn't seem like any of the AC Casinos care about poker anymore

It’s an area thing, Most in the area dont and if they it’s smaller daily tourneys. Closest major series coming up
Would be Maryland in September

Philly Live! is the only casino holding regular tournaments. (Rivers has a couple during the week I think). Played at Live! on Wednesday in the daily, $140 buy-in. Pretty soft, though I went out early and decided to play cash instead of rebuying. Got about 60 runners if I recall correctly.

I think the lack of dealers is the big problem. A lot of them started doing something else during the lockdowns and aren't coming back. The rooms make a lot more money off of cash than tournaments, so it's not a surprise that most rooms are only doing cash. Hopefully regular tournaments will eventually come back, but with Delta here I don't think it will be any time soon.

They'll come back eventually, at least at borgata. If anyone needs a tourney fix they should go to vegas
