I don't think the name will change, just that they will use the Caesar's rewards card

I am starting to think the closest poker room op we're going to get in 2020 is National Harbor or Turning Stone. I hope I'm wrong

From the article:
Quote:
Commission Chair James Plousis said there were "legitimate concerns" the new casino company "would be in a position to harm fair competition in the Atlantic City market" if left unchecked, but he felt confident in the 39 conditions imposed with the approval.
My bigger concern is that they contract. CET shuttered a profitable Showboat because they had Caesar's there and other properties in AC. My guess is that they won't want to keep four properties in an area that has already been trending towards contraction (Hard Rock and Ocean may not have reversed the trend but even if they had, COVID-19 may force operators' hands.)

They already sold Bally's, so it's more like 3, 2 on the boardwalk. 1 in the Marina. Basically, the same footprint, but they're trading up Bally's for the Tropicana

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (CBS) — Four people were arrested after three men were stabbed on the casino floor of the Tropicana in Atlantic City during the overnight hours Monday. New Jersey State Troopers responded to the report of an altercation on the casino floor on July 20 at 2:57 a.m.

Officials say three men sustained stab wounds during the altercation and were taken to AtlanticCare Regional Medical Center. One of the victims sustained life-threatening injuries and remains in serious condition.

That was definitely a breach of social distancing guidelines.

I wonder too if they took the courtesy of wiping their blades down with some Clorox beforehand.

I received a parking ticket outside of Hardrock about 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately, I lost the paper ticket.

How do you guys pay your tickets in AC? The main site to pay tickets requires everything from ticket ID to court ID, which is something I don't know. And the licence plate lookup site doesn't seem to pull up anything for my license plate.

Do I have any other options to take care of the parking ticket?

I would check with the RMV local office.

unlucky

I haven't gotten a parking ticket in AC ever, maybe now they are cracking down desperate for some revenue?

Neither have I, but also figured there is more enforcement during the summer. The unlucky part is that by the time I tracked down the ticket info to pay it, they added a late fee so the 35$ ticket became $55ish... I guess I will use casino parking more, but I like street parking for quick visits.

Question for true degens:

Are Borgata's Amphora Lounge and Harrahs/Caesars Diamong lounges open? How about the gyms and pools?

Indoor drinking and dining aren't allowed anywhere.

Borgata lists "Amphora at Borgata Gardens" for Gold+. Presumably that's an outdoor replacement.

I don't think gyms and pools are allowed. Borgata's are closed.

Yep, with no end in sight. It's not a priority right now, and I don't know when it will become one. We're unlikely to get poker this year in NJ, NY or PA, it seems.

None of the CET lounges are open, but as Sirpup mentioned, Amphora is open (but only F-Su 4-9pm). The Outdoor pool at the Borgata is open (I believe this is the one to the side of the surface parking lot with the "Beer Garden"), but all the Water Club pool is closed, and all of the indoor ones are closed.

Drinks on the casino floor, and smoking in designated areas, will be allowed to return Friday.

Great, so, we can blow COVID clouds into the air on the gaming floor but can't play poker with masks and Plexiglas dividers. Makes total sense
