All 4 CET properties in AC use the same qualifying hand and all share the same jackpot.

Any PLO games going in AC? I don't feel like calling up all the rooms.

Go to bravo poker live dot com and you will see what each casino is offering, except for the Taj.

Generally they have a hi lo alternating with stud at harrahs every day.

Borgata also posts here.

The train almost always leaves AC RIGHT on time. Secondly, there is a train shuttle that takes you to the train. It is free. It leaves every casino 25 minutes before the train leaves. For Caesars it is a LARGE white bus, not a jitney. Caesars shares this bus with a couple of casinos. Therefore the train shuttle may not come exactly at 25 minutes before the train leaves.

Here is the train schedule. I take this all the time. As do MANY of the casino employees. They rely on it. If I am leaving from a different casino, I always look for the casino employees. It is VERY reliable.

http://www.njtransit.com/sf/sf_servl...Action=TrainTo

there are TWO separate trains for you. The one from the airport and the one from 30th street station.

Take the train, sleep and you will be fresh for poker.

http://www.phl.org/ground_transportation.html#trains

Obviously, when you are traveling from AC to Philly, there may be a small delay for one reason or another. However, the train leaves Philly on time and it leaves AC on time. Almost always.

Should I allot a decent amount of time for the train being late?

P.S. if there is some easier way of getting there please let me know!
I was answering this fellow.

I come from DC and leave about 30 minutes between connectoins with Amtrak. I do this all the time and have not missed a NJ Transit

Do you do greyhound or academy?

I always take greyhound out of port authority, but thinking of giving academy a shot after a couple filthy greyhound trips with nasty people/bus drivers/full busses.

Looks like the weather is going to be good enough early in the week monday- thursday according to the weather on the internet for me to leave VA monday morning after work, in the prius and not my four wheel drive saving me a couple hundred in gas.

See ya'll then. Staying at bally's.

Just read the news that Dennis Gomes of Resorts passed away yesterday. No one mentioned how he died.

Resorts did have a poker section for a short while.

Wonder if it is from sickness or foul play. Hope its not a mob hit.

I take academy from NYC. Prob pay a tad more overall but it's cleaner than the other buses and faster/cheaper than the ACES train. My $.02. Not headed down this weekend. Maybe in early march...,

Academy is the much better option. Check out megabus.com for big discounts on Academy NY to AC.

Since Borgata's weekend mtts take away focus from the weekday mtts, I've highlighted 2nd & 3rd best structures to give you a better idea of options for the weekdays.

...and since there are Borgata structures that have 25 minute levels & combination 20-25 minute levels, I've included one where the timed levels overlap just for reference since the extra 5 minutes is very much noteworthy.

I guess the most surprising thing for me was Caesars blew the weekday dailies away. It's a shame they can't get their act together since they do have a significantly better structure.

Please let me know if you guys find any mistakes either by PM or by posting in this thread. Enjoy.

Awesome breakdown. I think the Harrah's numbers are wrong though. Here are their blinds. Please check my math and make sure I'm doing this right!

They run with $15000 in chips and 20 minute blinds.

Thanks PP, I have both 10k and 15k stacks for various tournaments at Harrahs, but did neglect to include the 15k structure. If they got rid of the 10k mtts, please let me know. My info for them was up to date as of Dec 11. Will wait for confirmation and more possible errors before I add the 15k structure.

Math looks good in your spreadsheet for 15k stacks.

rockin, thanks for taking the time to upload and post those analyses. If you want to create a thread about them in the main B&M forum or the MTTc forum, I think that the community would find them very threadworthy.

He died due to complications from kidney dialysis. His 47 year old son also died a month ago, but no cause was given for him. Now the pressure is on his 29 yo son to take over.

Anyone know which AC casinos use shuffle machines for tournaments, if any? Will eventually open a thread as Rapini suggested and will include that info also since a 20 minute shuffle machine mtt is probably pretty close to equal to a 25 minute NON sm mtt in hands per level.

Showboat - does not use shuffle machine
Golden Nugget - does not
Borgata -
Bally's -
Caesars -
Harrah's -
Taj Mahal -
