I think Ocean Resort has the best environment/vibe if you plan on staying to watch. I haven't been to the Draftkings one at Resorts yet so I can't comment on that one. Whichever book you're at plan on getting there first thing in the morning with some friends to get a table/seat.

Personally I liked Ballys book because it wasn't crowded but not much seating. You can stand at the high top tables with your BBQ/beer which I enjoyed.

No, they moved,
To the boardwalk side,
Big space, draft kings.
(Lot's of big TV screens.)
I go every day.
The brick & mortar
SportsBook is highly recommended.
(note: William Hill at #TheOceanAC
is better.)
But
Don't use their online
App. (Draftkings at Resorts)
They have the
Worst costumer service.
You have been warned!

stopped by nugget and resorts this weekend, so other than trop can rank the books in a.c.

based solely on watching games.
1.oceans
2.resorts
3. nugget
4. borgata
5. wildwest(to be honest idk if 12 chairs and 3 tvs even counts)

borgata started putting theirs together finally, months too late, so hopefully wont have to leave the property in future.

Ocean Resort upgrades you to a high level card with many benefits, $2.50 comps / $3/hour, crazy rake-back...$100 high hand every hour...bad beat...

Hard Rock opened a sports book today, just in time for the Super Bowl

I'm interested to hear where it is and how it looks.

So I played the nugget today , and the structure was awesome for a 105. Turns out they are tweaking it. They want to get rid of levels 4 ,13 and one more. At ,20 minute levels. What would you do ? I suggested level 3 and 4 instead.

The Nugget tweaked the blind structure and will put it in Thursday, It looks to be a success for tourney players at that range

Whats the biggest regular NL holdem game in AC? I'll be in town for 4 days Monday-Thursday. Does 25/50 at the Borgata get up on weekday evenings or just the 10/25? Not sure what the other casinos are like for poker.

None of the other casinos will get a 5/10 NL game or larger on any remotely consistent basis (many have trouble getting 2/5 NL going, especially on weekdays). All the rooms are on Bravo as well.

I don't think even Borgata will have a 25/50 on the WEEKEND.
They will have at least one 5/10 on the weekend.... but I think the best you can hope for during the week is 2/5.

Do they even have 25/50 at any casino in Vegas during the week?

I think 25/50 runs mainly during tournament series. 10/25 is probably mostly a weekend thing. 5/10 should run more often on regular days.

Some of the regs in the Borg thread may be able to give a firmer idea of times and frequencies.

even 10/25 is hit or miss these days

At both Harrah’s Philly and Sugarhouse you can phone ahead and put your name on a list but, as far as I know, none of the rooms in AC offer that option (correct me if I’m wrong). Is that a state regulation or just a regional preference?

you can call in for high limit games at borgata.

Will probably play 2 events in this series as I’ll be around for the borgata March series.

Ugh how can the WSOP Circuit site still not have structures posted. I mean I know what the structures are based on past series but still they should have been posted 2-3 weeks backs at least.

Also, anyone think the WSOP Circuit structures are pretty bad? Ugh start with 15k and 30 min levs. Meh I mean it’s not terrible but I feel they could be better. I feel mtts should start with 20k min as the blinds don’t go up till way later around level 20 in increased duration. The monster stack looks sweet but I feel the other 400s should either have longer levels starting out or more chips atleast for more time with deep play. I know Way back in the past the structures for wsop circuits were pretty damn good with extra levels but the quality seems super poor at all stops imo except for the mains. I’ll stick to parx deep Stax I guess as the WSOP Circuit doesn’t wanna provide a solid structure.

Honestly I played it two years ago , and I thought it was good. Levels only half hour but structure went slow and not 17 levels. Think it was 12. I have heard amazing things about the parx events though.

Does Borgata still offer comped rooms if you play a certain amount in the poker room? I've heard 'Mabel' in the back room used to hook it up for rooms on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. If so, what kind of stakes/hours do you need to put in to get that?

Any better options than paying hotel-weekly rates (~$250-$350/week)? Looking into grinding AC again for a couple/few months. Craigslist short-term rentals didn't have any good leads.

If you don't have any play logged on your card (going back six months, I think), you need to play some before you get room offers. There's no play x, immediately get a room.

Log some time, you should start getting offers (may take until the next calendar month).

Average over $15/day (6am–6am) in Express Comps, you should start getting weekends.

If you're playing high stakes and a lot, the host in the back may be able to expedite the process. (I don't know for sure how much she can really do, but it can't hurt to ask.)

you need like 8 or 9 ish hours in 2/5nl or 10/20 limit + for a couple weekends then you will start getting borgata offers. if you jump into a bigger game for a weekend or two you might be able to swing comped rooms faster.

you could also play oceans or Tropicana, maybe ballys? during week. i believe they do some play 5hours get free room during week.

in summer you could get weekly rentals in area but will looking at 1k+ . you can get a winter rental if you look in September for roughly 1k a month.
