Hi guys, is Atlantic City doing better these days? I went there in 2005 and did not like it much.

If you didn't like it when it was booming, you probably won't like it now.

You get free parking if you earn 25 tier credits (slightly less than 2 hours of 1 2). I am a Diamond, so I never had to use that option, but ask the floor when leaving for how to pick up free parking voucher.

Actually, it depends. I would say Borgata now is at its nicest (as far as clubs, restaurants, etc... go). Boardwalk casinos - not so much...

Its actually one hour. 1-2 is 24 or 27 tiers/hr.

I just didn't want to believe it. There's a big article about the Hard Rock in the latest issue of Casino Player, and no mention at all about poker. Very disappointing. They need a good room on the Boardwalk!

Tropicana was good the last time I played there less than a year ago. Fast drink service, friendly people, and decent action. Can't really ask for more than that.

Yeah, the Trop is definitely better than it used to be but it would be nice to have a decent room at the north end of the Boardwalk.

Maybe whoever takes over Revel will have one.

Ocean Resort has been pretty tight with details, but they seem to be planning a "poker area." I haven't seen anything that suggests they're going to have an actual room that could be a force in town.

They'll have to present to CCC in a couple weeks to get their license, maybe we'll get more details then.

Why Borgata's servers look good, but in any other casino all the serving girls are 100+ years old?

Yeah. I can't complain about trop action on weekends. Sometimes I don't want to trek all the way to borgata and I'm surprised how good trop action can be Friday and Saturday late nights. 1-2 but plays a 2-5 size.

I'm pretty sure they have to be under 100 by law, actually. You should get the gaming commission involved if you have evidence to the contrary.

Also, I think the Borgata's budget for breast augmentation is significantly higher than the other casinos.

I don't speak for anyone else obviously, but I think that sounds great. I don't think there's a need (or even a market) for another Borgata-sized room. A room/area at Ocean that's 10-15 tables would be fine by me and probably plenty to handle demand on that end of the boardwalk.

And to think it's just the start
Of the Memorial Day weekend!
To give one example, this morning at
Tropicana at 7 Am:
Two full 1-2 tables :

Sober Asian # 1 calls $2
Crazy asian #2 calls $2
Major Cutie pie raises to $12
Tourist calls $12
Pro calls $12
Girlfriend calls $12
Pro #2 raises to $35
Sober Asian calls $35
Crazy Asian goes all in for $51
Major Cutie pie calls
Tourist calls
Pro #1 calls
Girlfriend calls
Pro #2 goes all-in for $250
Sober Asian folds
Major Cutie pie calls all-in for $125
Tourist calls all -in for $175
Pro #1 folds after a lengthy argument
(About whether pro #2 can raise again,
- the matter is resolved without Security
Intervention, he is after all a pro,
Even if he is masquerading as a tourist.)
Girlfriend calls for $200
________

Tourist wins main pot about $750
When he makes a set of 4s on the turn
Girlfriend wins side pot for $200
She made a pair of queens on the flop
Pro #2 wins 2nd side pot
With no pair AK

If you play enough poker in any other MGM property (example National Harbor) will you get the comp rooms in Borgata?

because borgata servers are signed to modeling contracts and not union based.. the reason trop/bally and others have all the older servers is because they are in a union and you cant just fire them because they got old.. good protection for most other jobs, not for being a hot waitress.
