At the nugget I think they bump you up to their 2nd level card. Borgata only does "diamond" for their "black"

I am not concerned about losing any benefits. It's like being down graded from Platinum to Gold.

What I am upset about is that since I got my GN card in March, I only had four months to earn enough credits to maintain my status. Now I have to start all over again in July.

I've been compiling a list of areas in or near poker rooms with Wifi. Unless things have changed, I have:

Borgata, Caesar's, Revel, and Trop - wifi in the poker room
Showboat - wifi at/near the Earl of Sandwich

Anyone know a spot in Bally's or any places I didn't list? My aircard gets an awful signal in there and I also have Xfinity, so I can use the Xfinity Wifi spots (which I also read are also on a free preview until Jul 4), but I haven't noticed a wifi signal anywhere in Bally's. I've been liking the 1-1 game so I'm playing there a bit. Sometimes have get paged when I'm on call with some quick work to do, and it would be a lot easier to take a 10 min break and hop on Wifi somewhere than walk all the way over to Caesar's.

1) whats the best stripclub in AC that has decent girls, and has a full bar. don't want to BYOB. I've checked out Diving Horse, Bare Exposure (horror stories) and a few others but can't decide.

2) Can anyone reccomend a decent agency that would be worthwhile to get 2 strippers to the room for a show. I've got quotes for $450 for 2 girls for an hour plus tips. not sure if spending 7-800 is worth it. money isn't a huge issue, just want to get the best value. thanks for any info

Planning a trip to AC in 2 months and was wondering where the best casino to play 5/10 no limit is at. I plan on staying a week and would like to play weekdays and on the weekend. Also what would be the best hotel to book as far as value to quality and close to the casino for poker. Any advice appreciated. Also is the area safe to have 5-10k on you too, never been to it before?

hotels are tough on summer weekends, especially on short notice. but borgata is where you want to play. it'll be the only place with multiple 5/10 games... and likely the only place with any 5/10 game.

pretty safe to carry cash, but don't flaunt it and don't spend time on the streets.

I dunno when the last time I saw a 5/10 game run in AC outside of the Borgata. Revel may have had one table going on a Saturday night a few weeks ago but I don't quite remember

Harrah's and Caesars get 5/10 games during the WSOP Circuit events. Otherwise, Borgata is it in A.C.

I think comp is $3/hour and time is $7/half

No default rate, each player earns their own "rate". After a week or two of consistent play you should get 2nights a week comped. After that it's usually $59 or $79 for poker players, depending on what's in town that week. If you skim the borgata thread there is more info.

You cant get bare tits and alcohol served in the same place. I'd go with the byob, its not so bad.

haven't been to any clubs but last night in revel a lady was giving out half off cards for a place that's full nude called "stilleto" the card says half off Thursdays. On south Carolina Ave. Good luck

I've managed to talk the girlfriend into going to AC for two nights after our visit to NYC on route to Ga.

What is there for her to do by herself so she doesn't get bored ****less? We're going to stay at Borgata. I've seen there's an aquarium. Is there a cinema somewhere? Is she safe enough out by herself during the day until I go meet her? At night? How do you get from Borgata to the boardwalk? Any other activities spring to mind for her to do?

Any advice is appreciated.

At the Borgata she is pretty limited to the spa or the pool..outside of the Borgata there are the Tanger outlets, which is a few blocks of shopping which is very safe if she decides to go on her own, its also a short cab from the Borgata. There is an aquarium not to far from the Borgata(another short cab ride). As far as a movie theater, there is an Imax theater in the Tropicana which is on the boardwalk. The boardwalk is about a 5 minute cab ride from the Borgata

Pretty much everything in AC is a $13 cab ride from Borgata or you can take the Jitney for $2.25 each.

I'd 2nd the outlets and also recommend the beach

the outlets are the best in jersey. most of them are "true outlets" where they're selling the leftovers of last years models for big discounts. for high end shopping go to caesars pier. beach of course. like other poster said trop has an imax. aquarium is nice but small. you'll see everything in under 2 hours... but i go with my wife about once a year. boardalk itself is very entertaining just to walk up and down. it's long. can be as time consuming as she likes. also jerseys oldest lighthouse if she likes stuff like that.
