I might be spending a little time in Aruba and was wondering what the poker scene is like. Where and at what time of day/night is it easy to step into a game? Are the dealers competent? Are the games soft from the tourists? Also, do the hotels comp? I'm interested in playing No Limit Hold em cash games only.
I've done a little research and the Excelsior gets the best reviews. There's also the Orchid and the Hilton.
I read that the rake at the Orchid is 5% capped at $10 ($12 for Omaha). I assume that's a USD 2/5 game, similar to the rake in a EUR 2/4 NL at Holland Casino in the Netherlands. From what I remember it's capped at EUR20 though.
