Sad to hear. I'm philosophical about it, tbh. Sitting long hours at a poker table was becoming more and more of a chore. I wasn't enjoying it like I used to and that was one of the reasons I ran off to BJ. What I dusted off is actually the amount that I'd won over the past few weeks but it's no good. Time for a long break.

What ... you mean home games? Or are you saying 5 different rooms were up and running, with a rake, and there was some kinda sweep?

That sounds ... wrong.

Lol I remember playing at one of those places, and they took a mandatory donation for the tournament. Went there once, shipped it, and never went back since it was the most boring game rver

He went out the way he always wanted to.

Seriously though, if they are banning players for this I'm thinking management is going overboard, do they even know they are operating a casino?

They already they ban you for smoking weed in your car so I stopped doing that, but I still need to relax occasionally when playing, and now I have to stop doing this too? What's next, no drinking?

At least I now know what not to ask my favorite waitresses for...

On another note, does anyone know if Casino del Sol in Tucson has any kind of hotel room comp arrangement?

Just stayed there, and asked the same question, they said nay

Thanks. The rooms seem awfully spendy considering it's not much near anything except the airport. Hard to imagine the hotel itself getting much business.

It's even far from the airport... Have you been there? It's really nice and has cool bars, so the $100 I spent for a room was worth it

Come to think of it, it may have been Desert Diamond I went to that's not too far from the airport.

I found Casino del Sol this weekend. I had some time to kill, and wanted to watch the 'Cats game so I played some 2/4 (only limit game running). I was the youngest person at the table (still some pigment left in my hair). Played 6 hours, which is a very long session for me, and some of the regs that were there when I arrived, were still there when I left.

Got a $200 bonus for quad 6's.

Does anyone play at Wild Horse regularly?

I get there between 2 to 4 times a month, is that regular enough?

Meh just wondering. I've been going 1-2 times a week for the past couple months.

I called in as I drove past on the highway on a sunday afternoon. They had no games but from the sounds of the response it sounded like they often do.

3-6 runs pretty regularly which sucks because I'm a limit fish. Spread 2-100 runs sometimes on weekend nights though. It's been tough getting it going. Usually only goes if a few of us go out and push to get a game going.

Went to Vee Quiva this past Thursday. Showed up around midnight and got a Free Room. Poker room only had about 2 or 3 tables going. Think all were limit. 3/6 and 4/8. Was pretty drunk so was more interested in playing blackjack then Limit poker.

It was my first time there and the casino was pretty nice, and the rooms were really nice. Just so out of the way for Chandler/Scottsdale/Tempe residents. But very nice casino/accommodations.
