No and don't forget to tip.

Pretty sure their pre flop rake policy is the reason the high stakes (Even 3-300) almost never run. It's a joke. Management needs to change there. They got this big separate poker room and it's still the same truck stop limit games as before. Sad.

Yeah, when I raised in 8/16 and stole the blinds they took the full $6 or whatever I confirmed with the floor that it was correct and then racked up and left. Dealers were all over the place in terms of what they took preflop with a raise and take it.

I'd be shocked if there were any 5/10. They have enough trouble getting 3/6 limit or 1/3 spread limit going. Not that I'm there very often, but I'd be surprised at a 2/5 too.

Does anybody know the games they play at Talking Stick in the 40/80 Mix HL?

The 2-5 runs occasionally at CDS - recently Thursday seems to be pretty regular (due to the football promotions). Structure is 1500 max buyin, 680 max bet.

Poker Atlas shows what games are running, how many waiting, and lets you get on the waitlist from the website.

I'd like to know this too. Also, there is no PLO in all of Arizona? Not even a 1-2 game or 5-5 game? Wtf

This has been answered many times ITT. There is no true PLO or No Limit in legal Arizona rooms. "big bet games" are spread limit - you can bet up to the max bet which may vary - at Talking Stick it is 600 I think at the 3-5/5-10 blind levels. At Casino del Sol in Tucson it is 680. You can bet that first in, but each subsequent bet or raise is limited to that cap. In some of the lower blind games the cap may be lowered.

That's not what I'm asking. I know then spread limit. All over bravo and poker atlas not a single 5-500 Omaha Hi game. Haven't seen one in the last month and I check bravo almost daily. And I didn't see anything about what games are in the 40-80 mix.

I don't know why the 10-500 Omaha games aren't running at TSR but I suspect it's because it often turns into a limit omaha game post flop.

Is the plexiglass still up at all Arizona casinos?

So we can bet on sports legally from our phones, smoke a joint, and now play no limit poker at card rooms. Does this mean legal online poker might have an outside chance of coming to AZ?

Not until we get all the state legislators high AF and AI for their stacks. No better feeling! :-)

Also, I assume (look out!) the tribes would have to endorse and somehow benefit from online? I also assume (!) poker room revenue would go down after the introduction of legal online poker?

I'd be more interested in Texas style card rooms, with true NL, and leave the casinos to the degens.

Based on historical evidence, the introduction of online poker will INCREASE play at the brick-and-mortar casinos, not cause it to go down.

I just saw on Bravo that Lone Butte now has NL also, 1/2, 2/3, 3/5, 5/10 and 10/20. Only 7 games of 1/2 or 2/3 right now. Not sure how often those bigger games will run.

Surprised at how many 2/3 tables there are. Doubt 3-5 will run often with the pre flop rake

They are also keeping their spread limit games around for now.

Isn't Arizona too small to support a reasonable player pool for online? It seems like it would be better if they could partner with another state and combine pools.

Hi all

Sorry for grunching and asking but in Tucson due to my Dad having a stroke. My brother is coming in to take over and since it’s a one visitor rule only rule at the rehab place, I may have some afternoon time to kill Saturday.

I don’t have my poker roll with me, so pretty much needs to be 4/8 limit or smaller or low NL stakes.

Anything near to the west side (St Mary’s) of downtown that fits the bill?

Much thanks.

There are 3 casinos down in Tucson. One spreads poker per bravo. Might be best to call them up, Ive never played down there.

Casino Del Sol spreads low-stakes nl and fixed limit. I played there just the other week when I had a couple of hours to kill, on a Wednesday. They only had 3-4 tables going then, I'm sure Saturday will be better.
