Just got back from the Aria. The room is great as is the hotel. The games were good with a mix of obvious locals/regulars but also a healthy dose of tourists looking to splash around. The poker rate is a smoking deal for that property.

i'm sure this has been posted but please share - what is poker rate at Aria and how long of play required? Also, Kat or anyone - if there are 2 in your room and both are playing poker, can both players hours count towards room rate? thx.

Allvegaspoker has rates, generally. When we were there, it was ~$100 weeknight, ~$140 weekend for the 2Q/1K room. Five hours per day, tournament play counts for a day, anyone listed on the room counts.

Kat, any word on the tourney entry fee increase during the summer? Also, will there be a change in starting chips/structure?

It looks like we will probably go back to the $150 + $25 during the day and up the starting stack to 10K in early June, though nothing has been finalized

Hi,

I've bee staying three times @ Aria and mostly played there when I've stayed other places during my visits to Las Vegas. Through Mlife I got an offer for 3 comped nights at MGM Grand that I booked Thu-Sat nights later this month. But now I am considering to fly in Wed night.

I'd love to stay @ Aria again, even if it's only for one night. I do have offers better than the poker rate through Mlife, but I don't think they can be combined with the MGM Grand reservation I have.

As I won't check in before 9pm'ish I can't play the tournament that night, and I'm not sure I will commit to 5 hours cash game after my long day with both work and travel. Will it be possible to sign-up early for the 1pm tourney to qualify for poker rate at checkout that day?

Also. Last time I left your poker room I think I ws told that I had about $90 i comps. What can this be used for? Can I pay the room/resort fees with comp? If not, I assume my comps can be used at Aria for meals even if I choose to stay at another hotel?

I can't wait to be back - it's been too long since my last visit.

Aria comps are only good at restaurants at Aria (Skybox, Coffee Bean, cafe Vetro, the Buffet, Inroom dining, and Lemon Grass), and can not be used at any other location or for your room.

as far as the room rate goes, I can only input times from the actual day of play to qualify for the poker room rate. The hotel is pretty strict about this since they are offering us such a great deal on the rooms.

Thanks,
Kat

I'll be staying there next week. I heard there is a CVS close by. Can anyone confirm this? I dont mind spending money when I'm in vegas, but $5 for a diet coke kills me.

Pretty sure there is a drugstore beside the Monte Carlo( near, far?) which is next to Aria. I've been in it but that was 2 years ago.

Also, the Aria's poker room is right next to the Monte Carlo( exit is right there)-it may be a short walk to the drugstore.

Just wanted to thank Kat and the rest of the poker staff at Aria. Had a great time playing there and even used the poker rate to try the rooms out. It's a good deal if you don't have rooms, and they are very nice.
Thank you guys so much for the fun time.

Yeah, as long as you are gambling (or appear gambling...) you can get basically anything to drink for free. Water, milk, soda, beer, booze. It's going to "cost" you a $1 tip though, but thats very fair considering they lose money doing this (but obv. make money from you playing/gambling), and if you don't tip that $1, you are probably going to get terrible service for drinks. This is basically the same every where for every game in Vegas.

12:00 noon, l request my name in 2/5. How long is the list? "it's a short list." 5 names infront of me. List doubles in 10minutes.

"New table gonna open right?"
"Well we have a tournament going on right now..."
"Take me off the list please."

Same # of players on list by time I walk to Bellagio. New table opens up and I have a seat within 4minutes.

Duke,

I am sorry that happened to you. We have increased our dealer volume so that should not have happened.

I just have a question for you because I am a little confused. You stated that at noon we told you we did not have a table or dealers because of our tournament. Our tournament does not start until 1pm and we always keep dealers available to open cash games at this time. Are you sure it was at noon? Just want to make sure so this doesnt happen ever again.

Thanks,
Adam

Yes, Aria. Does waitlist software keep records? No worries if it doesn't - not having seats avail is never issue in Vegas cause there are so many places to play.

Staying across the way at Vdara. I like poker room managers that use 2p2, especially your speed ITT. I'll give Aria another chance while I'm town. Thx Adam

Confirmed! CVS is very near by, Not even a block away.

Same side of the street, go south (towards the Monte Carlo) and you're there.

I just got back from the Aria after spending two days in Vegas. I didn't stay at the hotel (stayed at Harrah's) but I was extremely impressed with this room on many different levels.
- The floors were extremely friendly and helpful.
- I don't think I waited more than 15 minutes for any game I wanted to play and if there were 10-12 players on a list they'd call a new game ASAP.
- Cocktail rounds were fairly steady (only had to wait a little long once during shift change/tournament start)
- Dealers were competent and fast
- Room was roomy and the chairs were comfy.

Next time I'm in Vegas not only will I play at the Aria but I'll stay there too. Everyone from the cab hailers, to the bell hops (had to check my bag so I could get in a session before my 8pm flight) were awesome.

I've played at all the rooms over the years and it didn't even occur to me to change it up (played three few hour sessions there). Sportsbook was nice too, got a few drink comps even though I didn't bet over a hundo.

Almost got run over by Doyle in his scooter Thurs afternoon when his mixed game started lol.

This is a great place to stay and play at. The poker rate is better than the other "high end" places in town and the rooms and service are phenomenal. Thank you guys so much for the great time and we will be sure to stay there when we go back.

Can I book a stay for most of the WSOP at the poker rate in advance? What is the poker rate? If I make such a reservation can I cancel? How many hours do I need to play per day?

Everyone,

I am working on getting an even better poker rate here at ARIA during the WSOP. I should know next week sometime whether I can pull this one off. Right now the rate is $99 Sunday - Thursday and $139 Friday and Saturday. Dont make your reservations yet. I will let you know if I am successful next week.

Thanks,

Adam
