And, although we welcome and look for the possibility to spread the 4-8 mix anytime we have enough players to spread the game, I am not sure if management would want to push to establish a 4-8 game that might compete with the 9-18/12-24 mix. But, I will be sure to pass that idea along to our poker room manager for future consideration.
I'm coming to LV in May and I am also very interested in playing $4-$8 mix at Aria.

How often do you expect 4-8 mix to run during the WSOP?

Thanks for your consideration.

To Kat and the fine group who ran the Aria Poker Room all-afternoon and all-evening this past Monday, I had a fun time and you guys run a great operation. I was planning to poker hop from room-to-room all along the strip, but you pulled and kept me in. Great room decor, fast pro dealers, and friendly, knowledgeable floor.

From 2:30 to 8:30 PM, I played 1-3 NLHE and a mixed 1-2 NLHE-1-2 PLO game. Aside from socializing the players, I made some decent money to break-even on the whole Vegas trip! (Three days and two nights of gambling, taxi fares, dinners, clubs, etc!)

As an east-coast resident, I hope to come back to Aria on my next Vegas visit!

Mercier was in the game, players had some nice castles going.

Wow. Another fight at the aria.. Sheepy and viffer. Security came and the threats were flying.. Yet another card player article
"Another fight"? lol is this a common occurrence at the Aria?

What kind of discipline would these two get?

Obviously you want both of these guys in your room to promote business. However probably not at the same time

Hi Kat -

We're booking rooms with the current promotion of $50 daily resort credit. If we book through the hotel with that promo, will we still be able to get the poker rate, and will that interfere with the resort credit offer?

Thanks

Yes any other promotion will interfere with the poker rate. Aria only allows one promotion to be used during a guests stay. Unfortunately, it will have to be either or

Thanks

"Another?" I am not sure what "other" fights you are referencing to, but we are toying with the idea of bringing in a certain Mr. Don King to promote these fights properly so that we can sell tickets

As per Todd Brunson's twitter today

Kat - sounds like you have your hands full.

Btw, I'll be coming to Vegas in June, and I will be checking out your room for sure.

There is still the "temp ban" option, correct Kat? I wasn't there, but from what I know, some1 seems to need the "B" word for a minute or two. I mean month when I say minute.

I prefer cage match style. The cage match people are popular in vegas now right?

Are you going to be running any tournament series this summer in addition to your daily ones?

Will be in town in June and can't wait to come play again.

As of right now, no. But look for the daily tournament entry fee to be increased as well as bigger fields come summer

Just returned from four nights at Aria. Hotel and casino are fantastic. The staff was great, no hassle getting poker rate squared away, even in the heat of a Saturday night. Atmosphere was fun and energetic. Saw plenty of poker celebs. My only complaints are minor and have nothing to do with the poker room (food from Skybox was surprisingly mediocre; the full-automation in the rooms is laggy...going through 3-5 button clicks and waiting 3-5 seconds at each step to turn on the lights/tv or open the blinds was a mild annoyance). As a general rule, I approve of any resort classy enough to include a phone line in the toilet.

Seriously, though. I didn't have a chance to meet Kat, but my friends and I were VERY happy with the Aria poker room.

As a general rule, I approve of anyone classy enough to talk on the phone while dropping the kids off at the pool.

It's an odd inclusion, especially given the room phone is wireless. I didn't check the range of the room phone, but one assumes it works 15-20 feet away.

I'll be visiting the Aria in May and I cannot wait! I'll be grinding away at the 2-5 & 5-10 NLHE tables. And maybe some low stakes stud if they have it. Hopefully they have a few solid daily tournaments too. Can't wait!

I'm a bit late posting this, but better late than never.

I stayed at Aria recently for 5 nights during March Madness. I got the poker rate. Kat was great, booked my room through her, clearly told me what was needed to get the rate, and set the rate up for us when we checked out. The poker room itself was great. Constantly crowded and they are always quick to open up a new game when a board got long. The games were good and the drink service was consistent and fast.

The hotel itself, and room, were phenomenal as well. As you can tell, I had a great time and was more than happy that I chose Aria. I will be back at Aria next time I'm in Vegas if they still have a poker rate.
