during the plo half of the mix is it $5 to go like at the venetian?

what is min/max buyins for this game? i am moving to Vegas in a couple days and would be very interested in trying to get this game going again, esp if it is $500 buyin.

Sorry if this isn't the place to ask, but I heard the Aria is having a series soon. Are there dates for this yet?

TIA

Kat: Anything in the works to have the occassional higher buy in tourney... like one day a week... possibly a 300? I'm there all the time and love the cash but when I leave to play a tourney at Bellagio or Venetian... I usually don't come back that day. I'd love just ONE bigger tourney a week. Thanks.

Hey I like the idea but if I know Vegas- and I think I do- they'd get about 15 people for such a tourney.

Hi Kat

Played a couple of your tourneys earlier last year. Loved the structure, stacks, etc. Good mix of players.

Does the poker rate apply for tournaments or just cash games?

No $5 bring in. $100-$200 buy in, 2/5 PLO game is $200-$1500 I believe.

playing a tournament counts for 5 hours of live play

Thanks! Yes, the poker rate will apply for tournaments. You must provide me with proof of reciept. Hope this helps.

Correct min max buy-ins already posted. I think both games were going on Saturday. For sure the 2-5 PLO was full. And correctly, no $5 to go pre-flop

Have there been any PLO games running during the week lately?

How often (if ever) does a 4/8 mixed game run during off-times (well I'm more technically speaking of like March Madness/Spring Break time)?

Ignore my question, I just looked through the rest of the thread. But I am curious as to whether or not you recieve more business during March Madness?

Vegas in general is busier for march madness. Also heard that Aria is having a MTT series during this exact time but nothing has been stated officially.

This would make my spring break if this was going on while I was there. I arrive the day before the Wynn classic ME, but I'm not rolled for a $5k buy-in tournament.

If this is true, it would be nice to see the schedule (even a tentative one) as soon as possible.

last March madness nights, the room was 70%-100% full, the daily tournament also hosted 124 entrants on one of the Saturdays

Last year the games were incredibly good during march madness, tons of recreational players that came out for a week or weekend with the guys for watching the basketball tournament, golf, etc. Games were much better than over new years.

once you fullfill the required number of hours (5 hrs a day average?) they will be able to adjust your room rate to the poker room rate, just get ahold of the floor a day or so before your checkout

Thanks for the post! Did you book an ARIA promo reservation? If so, its either the promo or the poker rate. We are still honoring the poker rate $99+tax Sunday through Thursday and $139+tax Friday and Saturday.

When are you coming in February? Let me know. email me at kpaculan@arialasvegas.com with the confirmation number.

If I'm not mistaken, it looks like a 12/24 mixed game has been running strong at Aria recently. Is this right? What are the games in the mix? Thanks.
