I haven't visited since March Madness and this may have already been covered in a different thread, but I just came across this one so I'll ask here...

Are $2 chips in play yet?

How often does 15/30 LHE get going? When I was there, it got started up, and our table was told it was the very first time the game went live. It started as an 8/16 (with $5 and $1 chips), and eventually got to be 15/30 by the end of the night.

Hi Kat,
I'll be staying at the Aria for a few weeknights in early June.
How many players does the 1pm 100+20 usually get?
Does 2/4 LHE usually go on weeknights? Would like a low stakes limit game for my girlfriend's first live poker experience.

Thanks!

Our 20-40 mixed game plays on Wednesday's at around 6pm. We expect more higher limit mixed action during the WSOP.

Sterbz,

$2 chips are not in play yet. This is currently being discussed because we are going to make a push for more limit action in our room. We have had 20-40 LHE and 40-80 LHE recently and we are looking forward to see how many more games we can have for you in June and July.

Paystation,

Our 1pm tourney gets between 50 and 80 players during the week and we usually get around 100 or more on the weekends. And yes, we have a 2-4 LHE going on weeknights. Thanks for asking!

MK7749,

Thank you for the compliment on our room! We are happy to hear you love it. All of our games have great action! Our hotel is consistently around 90 percent occupancy these days. This means we are welcoming a great number of different types of players everyday. Please come down and say hi.

Damn kat, moving up the ranks fast, from what has turned into a graveyard of the mirage poker room last year to a full page ad in cardplayer to a 2+2 account within the past 5 months, next stop is a billboard like Danny Gans had. Good luck, everything in the Aria Poker room is outstanding and very well run imo.

Do you have the structure for your Aria Poker Classic?

Our structures are going to be coming out this week, should be done by Wednesday. We will post them at http://www.arialasvegas.com/casino/poker.aspx when they are finished. We will also have them up on our Facebook page.

Thanks,

Steve0,

We will be running our daily 1pm and 7pm tournaments everyday up until June 27th (We are still tossing around the idea of making the daily tourney $175 starting June 1st). At that time we will switch over to our ARIA Classic schedule. Yes, we offer tableside food service 24 hours a day, everyday.

Omaha is going regularly everyday. We spread a 9-18 Omaha 8/better. This usually kicks off around 6pm. We also have 1-2, 2-5, and 5-10 PLO. The 2-5 PLO has been very regular with it starting around 6pm. The 5-10 PLO gets going on the weekends. Also, I have talked to a lot of our guests and during the WSOP and Adam plans on spreading higher Omaha 8/B and PLO.

On July 6th during the ARIA Classic we have a $335 Omaha 8/B tourney starting at 5pm. On July 7th we have a $550 Turbo Pot Limit Omaha 6 max tourney at 1pm.

Has the cell phone service problem been fixed there? i never came back after my first time playing there because of it

Please make the tables 9-handed. Playing there is somehow worse than the Bellagio. Well, no, but almost. And when someone's getting a massage and has their chair turned around, I wish I was gay, because I'm getting some man thigh. But I'm not gay, so... also, 9-handed games play faster. I don't think I've played there a single time without having this issue raised multiple times.

What kinda comps do you get for playing poker? Heard a rumor today that you give $3 dollars an hour, can't be true?

And of course I'll be coming into town the day AFTER the Aria Classic ends. Will you bring back the 1p tourney starting 7/18? I like the structure and the buy-in isn't too bad (as it stands now) for mid-lowballers like myself.

I was there with a group of people in March and everyone in our group had cell phone service on a variety of carriers. So I would say yes.

Answers to all three, please. If you make the tables 9-handed I will move from the Venetian. (I'm a local)
