Wow, Aria is blowing up since Black Friday. I've been there three times this week and every time the place has been packed with all sorts of games - low, mid and high. The games definitely seem tougher now, though., that's for sure.
Just got back after a stay at the Aria. Great hotel! Every employee I came in contact with was professional and courteous. Only got to play a couple of rather short sessions as I had other obligations, but great experience. Opened up new table quickly when 1-3 list got long. Would have loved to have gotten a 1/2 1-2nl PLO going but never saw one. Ate dinner at Jean Georges and durrr was at next table. Overall great experience and can't wait to come back.
I am working on getting an even better poker rate here at ARIA during the WSOP. I should know next week sometime whether I can pull this one off. Right now the rate is $99 Sunday - Thursday and $139 Friday and Saturday. Dont make your reservations yet. I will let you know if I am successful next week.

Can I book a stay for most of the WSOP at the poker rate in advance? What is the poker rate? If I make such a reservation can I cancel? How many hours do I need to play per day?
This is a great place to stay and play at. The poker rate is better than the other "high end" places in town and the rooms and service are phenomenal. Thank you guys so much for the great time and we will be sure to stay there when we go back.

Is there a link on your website with real-time updates on which games are running. The Wynn does that and it is a cool feature, couldn't find it on the ARIA site, but didn't spend too long looking.

You can follow Aria poker room on twitter and they post running games fairly regularly.
1-2 PLO/PLO8 mix ran tonight, very fun game, everyone doing shots and being social at the table, and the dealers made almost no mistakes in chopping the pots! Happy Aria will run a game like this and obviously will be back again (although there were legit no soft spots at the table)
Will Aria be showing the UFC event this Saturday? Poker Room/Sports Book?

We usually show the UFC and Boxing Events in the Deuce Lounge, which is across from the Poker Room. Its usually around 30 bucks to get in and there is food and drinks.

Also are there restrictions on taking out this money and using it as spending cash, using it for the WSOP ME buyin etc.? (Will be wiring a sizeable chunk to play 25/50 NL and higher if it runs there) Thanks

Your best bet is to call and talk to someone in the main cage. They handle all of our wire transfers. 702-590-7111 and the operator will connect you
From June 5th through July 19th we got a little help from the Hotel side. Our room rates will change from $99 a night Sunday through Thursday to $79 a night Sunday through Thursday! The weekends, which are Friday and Saturday, will remain the same at $139 a night.
The same qualifying stipulations apply that have been addressed in this thread. I appreciate and thank everyone that was involved in getting our players a better room rate during this time. I played in the Aria Poker Classic last summer. Are there any thoughts or plans on repeating a similar tournament series during the WSOP? I liked the area that was used for tournaments last year.
