Note to self: never stay in a poker room after a jp was hit.

Note to the rest: apparently tapping the felt with two fingers is not always a check at Casino Arizona.

otr I had 2nd pair and checked. Woman tapped the felt twice. I tabled my pair and then she said she meant to bet. She had 6 chips left, 8 is full bet. No one could confirm or deny if she said anything.

Floor called, in a Foxwoods worthy decision he ignored her tapping the felt and just asked if it was known that the chip runner was coming. Since we knew the chips were coming, the bet stood.

Spoiler:
I recalled that Gary Carson said you always call in this situation if they bet when they can see your hand, because it's usually their last chance to win.

I called, she mucked. /angleshoot.

Umm. I think she was. But it was not the Korean super regular who bounces between 8 and 20. I think her glasses were not on.

I would've insisted on a senior manager to confirm that decision as long as players/dealer will confirm the table tap.

What is interesting is that IF this is the same player i think it is, and the situation had been reversed , there is NO WAY she allows you to tap twice and claim " i meant to bet" without a giant inquiry. YOU should have known better, to bad so sad, you checked.

She would have called for a senior manager.

I had no idea CAZ had a Floor of Appeals if there was an error at groundlevel

if someone taps the table when it is their turn to act it has to be construed as a check. i would hold up the game and fight with the floor over that one. even if it is unintentional it has to stand or you lose all control over what is considered a check.

Hey all, been thinking about getting into one of the casinos for a regular (weekly?) game for a while since my old poker room got shut down a couple years ago. Glad I found this thread!

I wouldnt call it an "official" "floor of appeals" so to speak, but...

There is always a shift manager on duty that cant be brought in in difficult situations, i wasn't saying calling a "Senior" manager was right or change a decision, just that SHE (the player in the OP) would have because that's her M.O

how's everyone's experiences at 2-3 NL going lately? Any wild tables going down?

I had to laugh out loud last night when a regular (he's been there the 4 times I've gone in the last couple of months) kept faking like he didn't know what was going on....asking how much max buy in was and how much he had to raise, etc.

Almost called him out but just had a chuckle with the dealer

Durango, or anyone really What's the minimum buy in you would consider going into a 2/3 NL game with? Is the max still $350?

played on saturday night...2/3 NL got a nitty table with a few regs, one chinese/asian guy who took about a minute on every decision even though it was obvious he was going to fold.

lost $175 taking a few beats and being absolutely card dead in 4 hours...tilted off 20 bucks in a nickel slot max bet on my way out and hit a little jackpot for $340 to make the drive home a lot easier!

Next time you might try a taking a pic of the sheet if you've got an account at a hosting site and linking it.

On one of my unused domains I set up an image hosting site. I'd gladly donate a shared account to the Arizona folk provided they used their powers for awesome.

There are numerous free hosting sites, of course. Mine has the benefit of allowing hot-linking to, well, here

3/4 of the table broke into a round of "row row row your boat" last night while playing 40/80 LHE. We're the best.

Funny hand at 5-10 yesterday:
MP raises to 75
Button makes it 200
MP Calls

KxKsTs MP leads out 500
button tank calls

As turn
MP checks, button bets 500, MP tanks for 5 minutes before raising $500, upon which button re-tanks for 5 min and calls

River Jd
MP check Button bets 475, MP Checks.

Never seen a table laugh harder then the check raise on the turn....wow some players are just so so so so bad

honestly think the 5-10 is softer than 2-3/3-5 often, especially with that player in the game
