Heres some; CAZ completely dropped the ball by seating all the satellite winners together and all the cash entrants together. Still got a semi soft table, but wtf guys?

QFT!.. day 1a i bought in 15mins before the tourney started with one of my buddies from 2p2. It just so happens that George Lind, Mike Wattel, and 2 of the regs from the biggest game in the room as well as atleast one other 2p2er were all in line buying in at the same. Of course we were all on the same table. Another buddy of mine sattied in and was seated with 9 other rando's.

Seemed to be an interesting mix of regulars and some pro's in the tournament both 1a & 1b...

Played with Dwyte P. for last three levels on day 1b and he was a very cool guy..

Overall good turn out 1st two days.. need 307 day3 to hit the mark for Az State 1mil..

I have never ran a poker tourney in my life, but I would bet my life bankroll that my 6 years of poker experience would allow me to run a better tourney in regards to seating, blind structure, how to handle a multi-starting day tourney and payout structure.

The other night while waiting at cage around 2 am two out of towners were complaint theyd been seated next to each other. One said to the cashier, I didn't fly 2,000 miles with this guy to sit next to him in the tourney.

The 5-10 game was full when I got there about 3pm, but by 4:30 we had a full must-move game. And four 3-5 games were running as well. The main game finally broke about 11 but a good game while it lasted.

The good news is I managed to log out with some comps registered. Seems that the system finally is working.

I wanted to care about our State Championship, but... can't find any updates anywhere.

Oh well, gg CAZ.

Yea for sure. Cash games are always going. Just curious what are all the games in the big mix game that has been running?

Not sure what exactly has been played, but I know 40/80 HO was going yesterday, and I want to say the 75 game yesterday was HOT.

Sometimes Badugi and variants are played, and stud games as well (but those don't seem to be as popular as of late)

I meant are there huge lists for 2/3 and 8/16 to make going to CAZ at 5:30pm a bad idea.

The silence is deafening.

There wasn't really an Arizona State Poker Championship, IMO.

If there was, someone would have said something.

I went down to CAZ earlier today and saw a little bit of the heads up match. Zzzzz.... You couldn't tell what was going on because the view was terrible, the camera they had broadcasting it was terrible, you had no idea what the chip stacks were (one guy had a ton more chips than the other but someone was saying that he had all the small denomination chips), etc. I wonder why they had 2 police officers there. What were they trying to prevent? It was just tourney chips on the table. I doubt that bracelet was worth too much.

I got in at 4:30ish and it was already heads up (started at 1). HU didn't finish until 8:30ish.

The guy who won had a huge chip lead, then it got close to even, then he eventually won.

He also stopped by our 40/80 game and flashed 50k in cash, which we all through was kind of dumb of him.
