Yeah lived in cali where it was nbd like ever. I think a warning was in order but i guess not. I have some friends who are going to talk to them about it but I don't assume anything will come of it. I just moved here at the beginning of the month.

Well they said they would get the dog to get probable cause(which I don't think they would). I was just gonna not say anything but I feel like I am lying if I do that. If i had known what I know now I would not say a word.

Also what pissed me off was the fact that security guards were laughing at me(or about something that requires hippies to be mentioned) when I was in the security office and then again when I was right next to them while my car was being searched.

I realize I made a huge mistake and was very lax in my judgement it will never happen again but the fact that I was very up front and had about enough weed to get me and only me high in the car I feel like it was way too harsh to give me a felony charge. I am a nice guy I don't even hold any ill will to the casino or anyone involved I just feel like I got screwed by the system in place that makes it a crime to smoke something that keeps me awake but they can put millions of dollars into legal alcohol to essentially take money right out of their patrons pockets.

The guy who was the inspiration for the Joey Knish character in Rounders was busted for smoking a joint in the bathroom at Foxwoods. I asked him why he did something so stupid and his answer: 'How was I supposed to know that there'd be a security guard in the next stall?'

IMR, some common sense. AZ is both next to, and very far away from, Cali.

Yeah, I grew up in AZ. The first thing I noticed when I moved to Cali is there are no cops. Cops in AZ are EVERYWHERE. It's too late to tell you now, but cops are srs bzness in AZ, and they aren't laid back like they are in Cali either.

Youre not getting a felony charge. No way, like literally no way you dont get taken in and booked on a felony charge. If theyre mailing you your courtdate, its NBD.

also, what felony? Unless you need a ton of weed to get you high simple possession isnt a felony.

also, don't feel dumb about telling them you had the pot. If they care enough to stop you and ask to search the car 99 times out of 100 theyll radio in and get a warrant to search the car.

The 300 is the cap for any individual bet but there could be more on the street if there is a bet and a raise. Other that that, your numbers are all what they actually are.

If you were 3 handed on the river, one person could bet 300, the next could raise 300 to 600, the next could raise 300 to 900, and the original raiser could cap to 1200. But with a 300 max buy-in, even getting in a situation where you would want to bet more than $300 on a particular bet and having it significantly affect the play of the hand is extremely rare (hasn't happened to anyone at my table in over 100 hours of play).

It depends on if he's prosecuted in Arizona or on the reservation. The reservation uses Federal drug law, I believe, and first offense possesion is a misdemeanor. But under Arizona law, it's a felony, which can be downgraded to misdemeanor at the prosecutor's discretion.

The $500 max bet is an Arizona State Law. At 2/3 it's basically NL since $300 is usually a players stack. At 5/10 you see the cap affect the game more as someone will bet $500, then the next player will make it +$500, then original player will make it ++$500, etc...

2/3 and 3/5 have the same rake. $1 BBJ pre flop, $2 on flop, $3 ($1BBJ + $2 rake) when pot breaks $30. 5/10 is a timed rake.
