I've always found CAZ's gift give-aways to be of good quality but not necessarily something I wanted: Travel mugs, shirts, caps, fanny packs, etc. However, they once gave away the same logo jacket they sell in the gift shop! Maybe if you call the board they'll let you know.

I want to hear more about this guy betting that he can win $50K in a month of 3/5 and 5/10... I think it got caught up the derail...

He floated the idea of betting 30k getting 2-1 that he could do it, I told him it near impossible by a top player with excellent knowledge of the players in the current game atmosphere, and he proceeded to say he'd like to try it anyways and implore us to put $$$ up vs him. Not to mention the fact that verification would be all kids of logistical nightmares. He has now changed it to wanting 3.5-1 and right of refusal as to who can and can't play in the game, an additional 4 days to grind MTT's on sunday, and an out in case the games don't run enough/run with enough tables to choose from. When I tried explaining the reasons why this was purely verbal masturbation on his part, he just kept talking up his abilities and saying "Put some $$$ up then and let's find out".....

Couldn't he have his men dump chips to him to win the bet?

3/5 is great, and there are a few of the 5/10 guys playing the 3/5 mostly now, but the game still goes just as much as far as I can tell.

That's... weird. I thought the chip denomination rule was only for calls, not initial bets.
