Finally got a chance to check out the room. Willing to delay being to critical but they said they were actually incapable of even listing an Omaha hi only game on the board. Kinda seems like a clown show. The 3 raise max preflop rules is uh interesting, along with auto rake preflop even if you don't see a flop are pretty cringe as well.

got the 10/600 hold em game to change to a mix 4 handed, and eventually go to omaha only till about 1 am last night. maybe there is hope for this city. I forgot how much fun it is playing vs holdem players in omaha.

guess its on me to try and gather up names to form a weekly game. if you build it they will come.

TSR just announced on Bravo that they have already cancelled the State Championship Tournament for this year. Gotta love the management at TSR. Major tournaments being held all around the country but they can't be bothered.

It is indeed a crappy room. Talking Stick was super packed, so we gave Lone Butte a try, and will probably be the last time as well.

Only one table of 3-$300, and the $200 games are full of nits that whine about every loss. We played one pot over $100, and they spent the next hour talking about it as if it’s the most exciting thing that has ever happened in the room.

Everyone is content to check down and just play for the $100 HH.

Some clarifications I've found about the bravo listings.

HL means high limit not high low and designates if a game is time rake ($8 per down). Min buy for these games are all 100bb afaik. Any spread limit non Holdem game gets listed as mix even if they are only playing one game where as they will list it at Omaha if it's just normal limit for whatever reason.

A 10-600 mix game runs every Friday so I'll prob just make a habit of playing that as it was extremely soft. (Was a 4card Omaha hi only/5 card dble board hi only/bigo hilo mix)
