No, because it is 1000+100 (I am assuming), the full 1100 doesn't go into the prize pool.

So you would rather add the rake for both events and consider as the rake for the satellite, like every other main event entrant doesn't have to pay rake?

Sorry if this has been asked in this thread previously, but is there a regular 1-2 game at Talking Stick? I will be there this weekend and was hoping to find at least one table of 1-2. thanks

There's no 1/2 but there's a 2/3 spread limit game with 100-300 buyin and $300 max bet. Weekends should have 5 to 6 of those games running. Have fun

Yes, and yes the game is generally very soft but table / lineup dependent

Rather than or in addition to "complaining" here, you should speak with a shift boss if you feel like and employee is out of line.

I have and it doesn't bother me much, they berate each other as well. I consider a player a player whether they are a dealer or not and expect the same spectrum of behaviors as everybody else. The ones who do it are extra stupid bec it likely affects their tips but that's why we play, right? We don't want thinkers nor players in control of themselves. Or at least I don't.

yea do you think you want players to have control and play well and not lose their money.
howard has it right.

as long as they dont slow the game up or drive away live ones who cares what stupid people do at the table.

Ray if people are belittling you, you will stop going there. Plus when you are a business owner with lots of money and just want to go and blow off some steam and pump up the game. You hear delears in the box talking bad about floorman and managment you find this behavior very badly and will not go back to such a place.
Your a nice guy and have spent most of your life in pokerrooms. Trust me these actions are very bad and will cost the room live players.

Check the AZ poker thread, but the next largest / busiest room is Wild Horse Pass near Chandler. it gets smaller games than TS. There are several other reservation casinos but they are farther away from the city and get smaller games. There are also semi-legal strip mall clubs throughout the area that get small tournaments and small NL games.

Anyone play the 2-100 spread limit games at wild horse pass? How do they compare to the 2-3 SL games at TSR?

I have pretty small recent sample of both, but I find the 2-100 at WHP to be much tighter/nittier than TSR. But they are both obviously dependent on who is in the game. The rake is less of a factor at TSR since preflop limps have 50% more in the pot at TSR.
