ya the whole structure is redic. I really hope there is more than 400 reg'd. WHat are the odds of getting the free 100k from caz? Really the only reason its worth playing.

They need to start day 2 at the same blind levels for everyone, meaning all the day 1s need to end at the same time/level.

I just confirmed with Dave the TD, They will play down through a speciffic limit. Where they end on Day one will be where they end day two and day three,

Yah DC I should've thought before I typed. Thx.

Can you tell I've never been in a multi-day tourney before? LOL. I hope I am "bagging chips" at the end of play on Saturday!!!!!!

When they were having their first 2 starting day tourney either last year or the year before, I had to clear this up, because I think they were planning on paying 60 and were going to play down to 30 each day which is just lol bad.

Considering people who bust the first day can play again the 2nd or 3rd, that will make the final numbers higher than the prereg because I doubt you can't register for a 2nd day until you bust.

Why worried? Biggest tourney I ever played in my life is the CAZ 300+30 monthly, and this is a full order of magnitude higher than that. Biggest cash ever is 2000 for winning the Ft McDowell Mega Stack (with a massive 100 runners LOL)... I'd rather only have to beat 650 players than 900, so no I don't care if they don't add in the extra 100K. Others will have a diff perspective obv.

As far as i know you CAN, several players have won multiple satellites and registered for a second/third day.

Several others have purchased their entries in anticipation of busting out before the end of day one( confidence eh?).

Several things to keep in mind..If you end day one, two with chips, you MAY NOT PLAY in any other following starting day even of you have a paid entry. If you are caught, suffer the consequences that Dave shall administer.
If you do finish day 1a or b with chips it then become YOUR responsibility to sell any additional entry you may have, the house will not refund you.

You're doing it wrong imo You should care a lot about that extra equity being in the prize pool. The number of players is less important. You don't have to beat those extra 300 people, they'll all mostly get knocked out by others.

No, Brad is not the spot...unless u define spot as best player ever to walk in CAZ...but he is very good at calling people and getting bigger games going instead of settling for the 40 holdem game that is already going.

I agree..you have to care about getting to 900. The extra money makes it worth playing...the structure is still weak but at least they increased the starting chip stack.

This might have been mentioned already...but I was told yesterday that they are giving each player a food voucher. It's only $5 but for them to give you anything extra is amazing!!!!

I think they'll get 900 -- There are way more people coming in from out of town this year, and at least 100 people planning on firing 3 bullets if necessary...I know I am!

I've seen Greg Raymer playing at CAZ, are you implying Greg rode in on a Rascal?

I was hoping we'd see the ultimate poker road warrior here this weekend... The Chainsaw, Allen Kessler... however I heard he was complaining about the awful structure too (shocking, I know)... LOL

Card Player lists the "major tournaments" in the back pages of every issue... and the CAZ ASPC isn't on it... oh well. It's still a major to us locals.

Speaking of locals... How about seeing a Kevin O'Donnell playing in this? Tom and Julie Schneider? Jim Bechtel? Or even George Lind III? Anyone know any others?

Giggling George has said he plans to play. Hope to see him there, I'm coming a long way and would like to play with at least a few celebs.

Tom Schneider was a WSOP player of the year, and people consider Brad Helm the best player in CAZ history? Give me a break.
