Does this meant normal tournaments are coming back? Please run a fall state champ. ONE TIME!

I wonder if this will bring back some of the bad older regs who didn't like the short handed tables.
There have been plenty there through the pandemic imo

I'll miss all of the space between seats.

I won't miss the long waits to get on a table. I won't miss not being able to wait inside the poker room for a seat.

I think the games will get a bit softer with more players. I think more average to poor regs will want to play more. I found that a lot of players would quit the game or sit out when the game became super short.

I just started playing again in April. There are at least 6 older regs I have yet to see. I hope they are ok and I hope they come back. I do see plenty of older players but some are missing for whatever reason.

I asked them that same question yesterday, they said probably until July 19th. Why July 19th? Who the hell knows, it’s Talking Stick.

Maybe they need more dealers? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Starting last thursday 7/8, Talking Stick moved to full capacity, no plexiglass, 8-handed, played yesterday and no more 30+ people waitlists and the game felt more open and free

How popular are masks among players?

I'd say maybe ten people at the most are wearing them throughout the whole room. I don't know why, it does them no good if everybody else isn't wearing them. I've seen several people sometimes wearing them and sometimes not. It doesn't make sense.

I’m sure it’s more important for them to virtue signal than to actual look intelligent.

Have you been there since the glass came down? The games are as juicy as ever. The seven handed games sucked quite often. I'm seeing a lot more bad regs back in play. 4 20/40 games running this past Tuesday.

I asked a couple guy's and they said they wore them so they don't pass anything to their grand children. They said this as their nose was popping out of their mask.

You got the good info! Just notice on Bravo that they added back the usual tournaments. Wish they would add some higher buy in stuff, but knowing that poker room, they are too complacent to try anything new. They could run at least 2 $1100 Milly guarantees per year

Now it's official? Or was it already and then they were thinking about bringing it back?

These are the consequences for not enough people getting vaccinated.

I think this was mostly due to not having enough time. They couldn’t run enough satellites, advertise, plan, etc. in time for August, and after that they start bumping into the WSOP.

And with the Nevada uptick in positive cases I’m curious what happens with the WSOP.

TS re-instituted mask requirement BUT it is NOT being enforced in the poker room or elsewhere. Very strange.

I'm seeing that everywhere. Supermarket, Walgreens, Subway. All have a sign requiring masks but it's not being enforced.
