Thought I'd start a thread on the 101 Casino http://the101casino.com/ because lately they're spreading a mixed limit game that has been great.

It's a dealer's down of 6/12 holdem with a 10/20 kill alternating with a down of 6/12 Omaha hi/lo 8 or better with a 10/20 kill. There's been terrific action because most of the holdem players are weak at Omaha and vice versa. One holdem player who had never played Omaha before killed the game twice, it was a beautiful thing to see

They're not on bravo but you can call in (707-795-6121) to get on the board, the game goes most weekends and if there's enough interest will go during the week.

Friday afternoon it'll go again.

There also getting a 2/5 PLO game going there on Wednesdays I believe in their private VIP room. Supposed to have some pretty big action from what I hear.

Yep, there was at least 25 people on the board, mostly call-ins, for the 2/5 PLO when I got there yesterday afternoon before the game started. Maybe one of the players is on 2+2 and can give us a report.

Real nice week of tournaments in Feb. I like it because the field is going to be small, 7 tables max I heard, but the prize pool is bigger than anything ever in Sonoma County. Here's a schedule and the main event is $30,000 guaranteed...

It's not clear to me how many tables will be in play, I'll find out and report back.

The 101 Casino just rolled out all new daily tournaments, and an end-of-the-month super stack tournament, with 2 starting days and $10k guaranteed to 1st place!

It's only a $240 buy-in, should be pretty fun.

Link to the event: https://www.facebook.com/events/589771904445291/

All of these tournaments have incredible structures and some of the lowest rake in the entire bay area.

Structure sheets will be posted online shortly

Here is a list of their new daily tournaments:

I'm going to the 101 next week and probably going to play all 3 dailies. Tue, Thur at 6:30, and Sat at 12 noon. They are the best structured daily tournaments I have ever seen and I want to play them all. Who else is gonna be there?

For the month of March, they're only dropping $2 in the 2-5 nlhe game. I've played it 3 times in the last week and it's as juicy as you could hope.

Well said my friend, I couldn't agree more. If you're in the area check it out. All the grinders are at Graton, even tho the 101 is slow the games are amazing.

2-5 is the nuts

They are trying to start a 5-10 game on tuesdays.. call if interested

Mon, Wed, and Saturday they spread the 2-5 PLO game which is one of the best I've every played.

Here is the new weekly tournament schedule:

It has been changed slightly since the first release... and it's better then ever. They are the best structured daily tourneys I have ever seen... I'll be there for all of them next week.

All of the above mentioned tournaments are correct.. The only other change I have heard is the last Thursday of the month.. The day before the super stack tournament they will be holding 1 mega satellite tournament at 6:30 pm $80 buy in which replaces the regular Thursday night deep stack mtt...this satellite will gain players entry to the end-of-the-month $240 buy in $10k guaranteed to 1st place tournament. Either Day 1A Friday, or Day 1B Saturday... here is a link to the updated daily line up at the 101 casino https://www.facebook.com/101casino/p...type=1&theater

Shootout format. Ten $155(+$5 dealer add-on) ten-handed single-table shootouts spread over a number of weeks. The ten winners play a final table. Final table places all pay some small cash. First is WSOP Main Event seat + $1k traveling cash.

Hi all,

I will be touring SF area in May and will be in Point Reyes area on Tuesday and/or Wednesday. Hoping to play poker at night after hiking all day.

Does the 2/5 nlhe run during weeknights? Is it actual 2/5 nlhe or spread limit, 3-blind structures that seems to be prevalent in CA?

Any suggestions for a cheap place to crash in the area? Looking at a simple hostel in Point Reyes for now - will have a rental car so don't mind driving if it's safe and clean.

Thanks in advance!
