the structure for the sat 12pm seems awesome... wish i knew about it when i came down last wkend... anybody have an idea how long it usually runs for and the amount of runners?

Got 78 last Saturday (which may have been light because of the Borgata series). Usually ends well after midnight...

FYI, Golden Nugget is now running a "match your card" promotion similiar to Revel. Just bring your players card to the promotions cage, and they will give you an upgraded card and slot dollars if you qualify. Any card over the minimium entitles you to free parking and they are giving out more slot dollars and room promotions depending on your level.

There was 59 players last Saturday.

This isn't poker related, but I didn't know where else to post this as it is related to the Golden Nugget in AC. If a mod/someone can tell me where to post it properly I'd be happy to post it in the appropriate place.

Heard about this on the radio this morning. IMO, if the Casino didn't shuffle the cards, they shouldn't try to recoup this money. This is a dealer problem, not a problem with the players.

Supposedly, they may have detained several of these people who won money (totaling 1.5 million), many who cannot speak English. This kind of casino management will probably prevent me from playing in the Nuggets poker room.

Wish they would add themselves to the bravo live app.

the pit bosses at baccarat when that happened at GN have likely already been fired because they and the dealers that they supervised were truly incompetent

Does the Sat tournament still run with a decent number of players since the they dont give the gold nugget to the winner?

i played in the Saturday noon tourney 3 weeks ago and there were only 78 runners

it has definitely slowed down at the GN because in the Spring that tourney drew well over 120 consistently (i even saw it get over 180 back in February when it first started)

yes

it is a great tourney on Saturdays, it just takes a long time to finish, i.e., i chopped 3 weeks ago at 11:30pm

How late is registration open? Through first 3 levels? I think that's when the add on period expires.

how many 2/5 tables usually run on a saturday? is it 500 max buy in or 1k? and how many runners has the 12pm saturday tournament been getting lately?
