There is no way. Some get 75 1x, some get 25 3x. There seems to be no rhyme or reason behind who gets which, and there also is no way to request which you get.

Everyone I know who was on the 1x per month plan were switched over on 6/1 to 3x. That includes myself. Unless there is someone out there right now with 1x I believe that 3x is the standard now moving forward.

Would've been really nice to have that shown on the website prior to grinding hours for the card...

Just got my gold card yesterday and rewards desk stated it is now $25 every ten days. Thankfully I got my card on the 31st and this morning (Sept. 1st) I got another $25.

Wow! So did I! Im also a fellow NEW Gold member. The guy gave me $25 on the spot and told me the same story $25 every 10 days either slot, table or as points to spend. So I grabbed another $25 before I left this morning. So Foxwoods bought me breakfast!

Now my question is what do i have to do to keep the gold card? I'm good until 2018. I don't think I'll get to platinum.

Lol, sorry about that. That was my tables fault. It took us about 45 minutes to convince the floor that we really wanted to play it.

Just to give everyone a heads-up...

The Mashentucket Tribal Gaming Commission is now cracking down on poker players using iPads, tablets and other devices while at the table.

Yesterday, at my table had a floor person come over and tell a player that they couldn't use one. The floor said (and showed) a write-up to prove that they were no lying.

Only a smartphone is allowed to listen to music ONLY is the only acceptable device on the tables now.

More info on this? Would kinda love the annoying AF ppl heads buried in YouTube "how to range 3betters at live 2/5" videos gone. I mean just their phones they can obv stay.

Are they going to be checking players earbuds to make sure no pesky podcasts or audiobooks get any listens?

Can anyone else confirm the sept 11 3x tier points? I've checked everything including email where I always receive the promos and I haven't seen anything. Thanks.

This disclaimer was at the bottom of my email:

"3X Tier Credits begin at 6am September 11, 2017. See Foxwoods.com/disclaimers.aspx or visit a Foxwoods Rewards location for complete disclaimer information. Rules and restrictions apply. Must be an invited guest. Offer is subject to change without notice."

The bolded, plus the fact that it can't be found on their website or on Bravo, leads me to believe it is not a global promotion and only certain people got it.

Ah well that explains it. That's unfortunate, thank you

Good! I'm sick of waiting for people who wait until the action is on them to look away from their movie/book/whatever and look at their cards. If poker isn't entertaining enough and you need to watch movies or read a book than don't play.

Curious on how this would be ruled as far as the bad beat jackpot goes.

I was in a scenario on Sunday morning. I had pocket 88.

Board is 3d 4d 5d 8c 8h

Unfortunately they held up...but how do you think the bad beat would get chopped if someone was in with Ad2d and someone else with 6d7d?

Rules state 50% to loser, 25% to winner and remaining 25% to everyone else dealt into the hand. I couldn't find anything about what happens if there's 2 losers of quad 8s or better.

I'm going to ask a couple floors tonight what they think, just curious what the rest of you think would/should happen.

The straight flushes would be the one's that would be getting paid out.

Even though it only says lose with quad 8s or better? At show down quad 8s still lose.

Simply because it's the two "higher" hands. Yes, your had does "qualify" as a BBJ hand but because there are two hands that are better than yours, those would be the ones that would qualify

Yup, quad 8s would only get a table share in this scenario.

We asked this question when the BBJ was started. Low SF gets 50%, high SF gets 25%, Quad 8's get a table share here.

Agreed.

That would be worse than what happened to me a year ago. I'm sure others had a near bad beat experience, but I was playing $2/5 NL, had $800 stack, was dealt pocket 4s, which obviously I knew wouldn't qualify, but I wasn't going to fold them. Raised to $20.00, called in 3 spots. Flop was 4 5 6, bet $55, call, call. Turn 4x, bet $140, P2 calls, P3 raises to $375, I shove, P2 shoves, P3 mucks and shows AJ P2 turns over 7 8 and I was sad
