I think they give a drink ticket for a $20 or $25 bet, I'm also pretty sure Borg is the only casino left in AC with a racebook.

Just show your gold card? Or have to place a bet as well?

Just show your Gold Card. Best to go to the right hand most window - where they keep the programs - the manager on duty will record your card number and hand you a free horse program and two drink coupons.

At the front desk when I check in, is there anything I can get from the front desk person? I tried asking for breakfast/buffet with no luck.

If you check in at the Water Club instead of Borgata (you can do it regardless of which tower you actually stay in), you can grab a free apple or two! That's about it though :-)

Are the waitresses still ridiculously hot? Do they still offer a good deal on the poker room?

The waitress? Always... And I must say at PARX too.

Deal on the poker room? If you mean for a room for the night, if you play a certain amount of hours, yes. Make sure you talk to a floor person.

Yes, I worded that terribly. I meant to ask if they offer a poker rate for the hotel rooms on weeknights.

Thanks for deciphering my post.

Can anyone comment on the game quality now that the 2/5 cap has been upped to 1k?

Anyone hear about the bad beat that was paid out recently? Only problem was that it wasnt a bad beat and a player was only using one card. Heard heads are rolling. Suspensions and terminations a plenty.

If people lose their jobs over mistake, its a pretty clear admission of a mistake and borgata will need to repay the funds into the bad beat fund.

Chances of that happening???

wat

bad beat was restored the very next day, the only thing the MGM brass was contemplating is whether to eat it or collect back from players

in what world a casino would risk massive fines and loss of license over $20K?

The Only thing that would save jobs is that its players money and not the house.

Wow, how does that even happen with all the verification that goes on before the payout?

And how was there no table captain putting a stop to it?

Yea I am surprised no onlookers said anything. Even with the daily 15-minute high hands people argue about 1 card high-hands all the time.

Seems as if only 2/5 PLO runs here instead of 1/2 which rarely, if ever, runs.

With that being said, what is the min/max buy-in for the 2/5 PLO game?
