From what I heard the promo was $250 every 15 minutes and then after 10pm $500 every 15 minutes but I don't know if it's accurate.

They log your info for transactions $3k and over because of FinCEN, specifically Title 31 aka the Bank Secrecy Act.

They're recycling the promo money back to the players in small amounts which is a good idea. Plus the place will prob be packed Friday which is bad for me bec I usually squeeze in a couple of hours but will likely skip it this week.

The only comparison I can give is the football promos on Sundays when you have to be there way before the games start or face a very long list. If this promo causes the same interest the lists will be long.

How long is that? Couple three hours?

IDK, I don't get to go on Sunday these days. Years ago it was 'don't even bother going after 2 hours before game time' long, I have no idea what it is now.

Fwiw, one of the managers isn't expecting a jam packed room for tomorrow's promos, maybe after work, but I played at 3 tables today and it was all the talk. I will be enjoying my visit to the dentist while everybody else is having fun.

Even at night? Or do you think all the money will be gone by then?

My available playing hours are limited as I've explained itt. It's OT and will cause Rapini problems and I've asked that ppl use PM if they want to talk to me about it.

Not on Bravo and no limit games aren't legal in the state. Plenty of limit and spread limit action though.

Was anyone part of the madness last Friday? I was there, no one on my table got a high hand though. Was pretty crazy. Got there around 7ish and waited a good 45 minutes for a seat to open up.

Been answered a few times in the thread, but to summarize, the closest to 2-5NL is 3-5 spread limit, 1k max buy in, 500 max per individual bet. For example even if you have 2k behind you can only bet or raise 500. 3 raises max unless heads up. TSR also has a 2-3 game, which I think is 500 max buy-in, 300 max per individual bet.

AFAIK TSR is the only place around Phoenix you can find 3-5 - other casinos spread smaller spread limit games.

the spread games at TSR are:
2/3 game 100 min 300 max 3-300 spread
3/5 game 300 min 1000 max 5-500 spread
5/10 game 500 min 2500 max 5-500 spread (occasional)
10/20 1000 min no max 5-500 spread (rare)

been laying down a 5/10 Omaha High spread game pretty regularly on the weekends

It was either this or a new thread, R. Hope you let this slide, I'm desperate.

Think about how often someone bets more than 100bb at a time at any NL game you play. I think the 4bet cap is probably the most annoying part about it.

You used to be able to occasionally get a 2/5 at WHP but it was a bunch of guys sitting with $500-$700 in front and playing a combined vpip of like 15.

Can you ask the casino to ban you from a specific game? I know you can ask them to ban you from the property completely.
