So my image was opening lots of pots, taken a few hands down without showdown, but when i have showndown Ive had it.

Are you calling a 1 pair hand here? 2nd pair? If your playing as villain what are you calling here?

I think you are repping a really narrow range here and I'm calling with most pairs with 25% of my stack in the middle

You're repping not much but I'm trying to work out what I get here with as villain. Missed weak draws and 5x or 66-88 maybe? I think (as villain) I would have led with a 9 or better on the turn, so I would be tempted to call BS here with third pair for the top of my range.

If you did this for thin value with a 9 then wp.

I agree with Lek that V would've led with a 9 or T on the turn, and that hero is unlikely to have anything. Even A hiigh has showdown value and prob should check river. So I assume hero is full of it here...but in a tourney on FT idk if I can call this bet with anything less than K9. So the river shove can fold out some hands that would beat hero's A high.

Complicating factor is that, while you didn't provide reads, is the V somewhat fishy? Cuz he called 25% of his stack on the turn with just a draw or a weak pair? Most regs are going to apply pressure with a made hand or strong draw by betting turn, or just get out of the way. I bring this up cuz it's always hard to get a fish to fold a made hand, no matter how weak it is, so maybe a river bet should be weighted towards the value-bets vs bluffs.

though u rent really repping nething. he clearly has missed draws, maybe some rando underpairs, or A highs, who wont have the balls to call his stack off here. i like it.

You turned a set...? Doubt it but like your play anyway. How does he want to c/c turn with no action on flop so he could take the pot with a bet with his draw.
If i had something of a 10 or a good 9 or something like QJ, A8ss i would have gone for it on the turn. Calling range in his place most 10's, A9 and all better than that.

Thanks guys. I had J high for busted straight draw. Pot was too big to risk winning with j high, so bombed it. Never getting him of a T but thought I could get him off a weak 9 and unpaired hands higher than mine. Gotta work around 50% to be profitable...

I don't know if you could get him off a nine, but he doesn't have one very often anyway or anything that can call. Wp, unless he is a gto bot that can call you with 77 or a 5.
