Are you saying that because you may achieve 40% in 10k that you are setting a bar for what a proper sample size is?

no. i am saying there is no sample size bar. 10k, 20k etc are just random guesses at a number. only reason i mention 10k is because someone earlier in the thread mentioned that as a number.

in a game with a tiny buy in and awful players there is less need for a massive sample so i would say 10k is suffice in these games for an indication of what roi is achievable.

Some of the players that offer up 10k as a proper sample don't have 10k games under their belt.

Many player remind each other that 1-3k games be/ or ds is possible for a decent player. On a 10k game scale that won't always even out.

1 player getting a 40% roi over approx 10k games, won't help the argument at all I would think.

By looking at many 180 players graphs, it seems to me 10k is not enough, and more like 50k will show some accuracy. Maybe its different for when players are on upswings, but for downswings if you take 10k intervals, your going to get wildly different answers for each players roi%.

But every person with a sample langer than 20k games at the 2s is ******ed so we will stay clueless after all
