3.5/45 man turbo. 16-17-ish left, just changed table, know nothing about this big stack guy, normally I would just flat here but sometimes i do 3b with intention of gii. is this bad? I'm beginner at these games, i currently play 1.5 45 mans i was just testing out higher stakes.

how proffitable is this play in the long run (with or without a reads)

    Poker Stars, $3.19 Buy-in (100/200 blinds, 25 ante) No Limit Hold'em Tournament, 8 Players

    SB: 1,846 (9.2 bb)
    BB: 3,202 (16 bb)
    UTG+2: 6,860 (34.3 bb)

    MP2: 5,908 (29.5 bb)
    MP3: 4,215 (21.1 bb)
    CO: 6,463 (32.3 bb)
    Hero (BTN): 4,736 (23.7 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with T T
UTG+2 raises to 400, 4 folds, Hero raises to 1,150, 2 folds, UTG+2 raises to 6,835 and is all-in, Hero?

lol... sucks when that happens vs unknown ! your reasoning is fine, higher limits we can start being more aggro its completely ok ! but in this example i don't see villain throwing again that lovely stack for less than AK JJ+

if we have no reads or stats guess 3b/fold with that stack is completely ok... i don't think TT is a hand to risk our tourney life vs that guy

That's the best way to post hands. If you say what your last action was it creates bias in the answers. If we know you called then we know he doesn't have 88 or you never post the hand. As posted we don't know if you are regretting a call or a fold.

I usually post the results a couple of days after the discussion dies down.

    theoretically, when it's unknown, i recommend nash: 5.9%, 88+ AJs+ AQo+
TT is +1$ EV so i'd go for it.

    Yeah super close spot imo.

3b/f is fine. Calling off isn't terrible, an unknown in 3.50 though bleh. I've played a fair amount of 3.50s recently and don't hate sigh calling it off, sometimes it's 88/99 AJ etc

Peeling BTN is okay we just get into a kinda gross spot when one of the blinds jams and utg+2 rejams.
