The villain is a reg, I think this is semi FT and the villain status are 23/17. What is the best to do here ? call? shove ? 3bet ? or fold ? IF I 3bet between how many big blinds is it better than a shove ?

i think about 3bet shove or call.

about call: First of all you dont risk 25bb. Second point V is a reg so imo there are some combos (JT,QJ,QT,A8+,KJ,) which could pay you. BUT Imo after call there is a problem with sb and bb who have odds to call and you are in 3way or 4way and i dont like this situation.

shove - There is about 5bb in the pot (20% of your stack). You have massive FE against MP3, 2 Blockers and I cant imagine that reg wanna see flip for 25bb so IMO he call you only with premium hands TT+ AQ+(?).

So...I shove

3bet - maybe im wrong but i dont event think about it in this spot

What do we think his opening range is here?

Are blockers a major factor? Don't we also block a lot of his raise/fold range?

Lektor has important questions that will help in determining the optimal play. Along the same line as Lektor, what kind of sample size do you have against this particular opponent?

I really like Dillinger's perspective and would go with a shove, as well. I also like shoving here because you put all the pressure on the opponent and you no longer have any tough decisions to make.

I would simply just make the call, using my 25bb to see the strengh of my hand on the board. I wouldn't like to take too much action postflop with a hand like AJ,AQ loses most of tournaments.

3 betting/shoving seems bad, I prefer a shove or call. A call has some merits as you keep worse Ax or Jx hands in and you're IP, but I don't mind shoving in this spot either.
