Small Blind Optimal Play Small Blind Optimal Play

So I decided to post in this forum I'm looking for some advice on how to play from the small blind in an unraised pot...in MTTs, SNGs, MTTSNGs, and small stakes NLHE. If it's folded around to me in the small blind I raise the big blind close to 100% of the time. If it's late in a NLHE MTT and I'm shortstacked then no, but if I can take the lead I usually do. I don't mind calling in a multi-way pot as long as it hasn't been raised, with the notion that the big blind will check. However, is it worth it to fold from the small blind a high percentage of the time and save chips little by little or should I call when getting the right price (again with the notion that the big blind will check). Overall, I am looking for some advice on how to play the small blind in these and other situations.
