Reviewing Play Over the Month Reviewing Play Over the Month

I started getting back in to MTTSNG's over January and I am wanting to review my play. I just started off at $0.50 and $1 turbos. I feel like I have ran poorly in the $1 45 an 90 mans, but it is a small sample size.

How do you judge whether or not you are running poorly?

Do you use bb/100 in respect to hands played? I realise this doesn't take in to account decisions made on the bubble etc but it would let me know if I am making the correct decisions hand for hand, wouldn't it?

How do you go about checking results?

get a icm calculator like icmizer or hrc and review after ever session. dont make adjustments to play on insufficient sample size, whuch may be surprisingly large to be significant.
Also assuming your using a hud adjusted c net much more important then winnings when evaluating play.
your not playing cash the profitabiltiy of an action in regards to cEV is often surprisingly divergent from +EV. We can not ignore ICM we just have to be aware of its limitations.
ok i am drunk and its 2 in the morning but i believe all my points are valid.

Bb/100 is a criterium for cash games.

Seeing if y run poorly or nit is easy: look at the results. However this is not a good criterium because you can run bad and play good or viceversa. So the correct play is the +EV one, which you make profit. And yes, icm calculators tell you this. I suggest to Try icmizer first: it has 3 nash calcs and 1 icm every day for free lifetime. Then you have to study ICM and BF. After that we can text again.
A good sample after tou can make conclusions can be 5k games, say.

And URagnatha had valid points although he he was drunk :-) he s a helpful guy :-)
