QJs - CO vs BTN line of play QJs - CO vs BTN line of play

This was a satty to the Stars MM main event, 35 players to start with.
Opps was super aggro past 5 hands straight and this made me call in the first place.
I'd seen him 3 and 4-bet with absolute junk previous hands and get lucky on flops.
V was 17/5 with a pre-flop 3-bet of 5% over 49 samples.

If you think he is very light there 4bet allin with effective 50bb is not that bad CO vs BTN battle where there is wide range vs wide range battle, if called we are never with that bad equty. Call is obv fine also and considered standard.
But you have to know you have good fold equity for sure to consider it.

On flop i mostly c/f here. It will be hard to get fold any pair or even Ax if we c/r. If we call 1/2 pot we hope for 1 pair what might not be best hand even if we get it, runner flush draw seem no worth much here without any other solid ways to win.
As played we have price on turn to call. You might also consider c/r, 1/4 bet on turn from opponent rarely will be something strong. It likely we can fold some pp/3x when we c/r turn + if called we have lot outs still to win hand.

I did not feel it at the time, and when I look at the hand again it seems I had some fold equity given how aggro he was past few hands, could've shoved.
Equilab says I'm 39.53% against BTN 3-bet range vs CO open raise (44+,A5s+,KTs+,QJs,A8o+,KJo+)

Look up fold equity calculator by redchippoker. Enter all data and it should give u clearer image on your spot.
If you are trying figure out if 4bet shove +Ev there is no need for equity vs full 3bet range that much. You just need know 3bet range and how big % of that range he is folding/calling to our 4bet + our equity vs opponent calling range vs our 4bet. Only case where equity vs his 3bet range would be useful if he calls his whole range because then it would be same as his calling range vs 4bet.

Equity vs 3bet range would be more useful if we are trying to consider if we are going to call and play postflop (as we are vs his whole 3betting range 100%) given price with given hand preflop adding estimated implied/reverse implied odds and other factors if there is any.

preflop: raise to 150 and fold vs 3b

    flop: as played, easy c/f

turn: as played, easy c/c, we have odds

river: as played, easy c/f, we don't have a hand

your reads/stats don't make sense, sample size is too small to soulread 3b stat, we're basically readless except for last 5 hands, not good enough for me

150? 2.5 BBs seem fashionable once antes are up in this tourney.

Him 3/4-betting more than a few hands straight with rags provides zero read?
The play seemed loose at the time.
The stats don't add up, I need to look it up again.
