Poker Stars $4.10+$0.40 No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t25/t50 Blinds - 8 players
DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History Converter

Only 15 Hands on villain, so far 27/0/13 so he tends to call more than be aggressive so far

BTN: t1195 23.90 BBs
SB: t2799 55.98 BBs
BB: t4428 88.56 BBs
UTG: t2033 40.66 BBs
UTG+1: t1429 28.58 BBs
MP1: t4463 89.26 BBs
MP2: t1200 24 BBs
Hero (CO): t1983 39.66 BBs

Pre Flop: (t75) Hero is CO with 6 6
4 folds, Hero raises to t150, 1 fold, SB calls t125, 1 fold

Flop: (t350) K A 8 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets t225, SB calls t225

Standard Cbet

Turn: (t800) 4 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets t475, SB calls t475

The 4 does not really change anything here. Either he's floating or has an A/K with small kicker, hence the bet. which he just calls again

River: (t1750) T (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets t1133 all in, SB calls t1133

Last card is a bit of a scare card. straight possibility has come, but I'm still sure he has an pair with weak kicker, which would be hard to call, I did miscalculated here a bit since I thought he would have around 10 BB if he'd call and lose, but he would have had 15BB still

This is a move I usually do when I have more chips than villain, but overplay?

I'm interested to see what others say, but I'm probably checking behind this turn. As you say, it apparently changes nothing and if he liked his hand on the flop he likes it on the turn.

Based on his preflop stats (27% played, 0% raised but 13% 3-bet? - don't 3-bets count as raises for this purpose - or is it 13 hands?) he doesn't look like the kind of person to release TPWK to a 3-barrel.

13 is aggression factor
Also I noticed that I did not change the thread's title :S

a smaller Cbet on the flop - about 45% it's enough
and then give up the hand x/f x/f

after the flop I'm not putting another chip in unless we spike a 6. Or if I'm having a FPS moment like this one here, in which case I go get a beer or 3 and avoid stars for the rest of the day.

it was the weird thread title that got me to click here in the first place.

The more I'm thinking about it the more I feel I overplayed it.
This is a move that works more on later stages on the MSNG since he wasnt really in danger if he called and lost :s
Well I know that for next time
