He is mostly ahead on the turn. He is crushed on the river based on the play from the turn. He checked raised and got 2 callers and the river was terrible. (the 6 makes 4 to a straight on the board)
I said what he should do on the river based on how HE played the turn. If you lead turn and get raised we can reevalute based on the person raising and their sizing. But generally speaking you very rarely get raised here if you just lead the turn. But even this line is against what is optimal, which is leading flop. If you lead flop the entire hand plays out differently and becomes much easier to play.

IMO lead the turn, they will call with flush draws and c/f river only when spade or heart comes. Isn't it possible they will try to bluff catch you with a pair?
People VERY VERY rarely bluff rivers that are 3 way when there's 4 to straight or 4 to a flush on board, it's value nearly every time. Point being, no one is calling his shove on that board 3 way with less than a set, so he never gets called by worse, which is the definition of value bet, and he doesn't get better to fold, which is the definition of bluff. If we aren't betting for value and we aren't betting as a bluff, then why are we betting?
