Quick question regarding 180 mans at Stars: turbo or non-turbo?

1. In terms of hourly rate (and multi-tabling), which one is better? From what I've seen, top regs playing turbo 180 mans had ROI of 30-35%, but I don't know what is attainable/sustainable ROI at non-turbo ones (although it should be way higher). Also, turbo tables were obviously filling faster than non-turbo ones. Do these factors kinda even out, or one is better than another?

2. What about BR management? I guess 100-120 BI's should be enough for non-turbo ones, and maybe 200+ for turbo ones?

I think it's generally considered the speed of the turbo outweighs the extra ROI from regular speed tournaments.

200 BI is the generic advice nowadays. You can be more aggressive with your BR if you're playing lower buyins (easier competition means better ROI) or are willing to drop down in stakes in a downswing quickly. I'd point you to MJBuddy's post upthread, but it seems like that was posted in response to a similar question you had.

Thanks a bunch sopoRific, I'd give turbo 180s a try.

shove i mean, i thought he shoved SB vs BB 9BB effective.

regarding turbos or non turbos, obv the ROI in non turbos is higher but you can put in more volume at non turbos, especially at the $10$ level.

if you like turbos play turbos since you can move up from $2 to $11 after a while whereas moving up from $4 to $10 at the non turbos is not possible since they fill up to slowly.

I find these spots kinda tricky. Obv I don't wanna fold 99 w/ 15BB and and shoving seems a good option with the dead money in the pot, but maybe raise/call is worth considering? What would you do here?

We're down to 10 players in $24 45max. I have been pushing pretty often and picking up the pots more than my share, so they might look me up at some point.

And now I'm dealt 33. I kinda wanna push here, but the thing is my equity is not that great if called, and I think there is a considerable probability of them calling me somewhat light here.

Thoughts? Is passing this spot okay?
