I often times struggle deciding wether to bet or check with some of my hands on these types of boards. For example the hand above I figure ive got some sd value with my Ace high but then i wanna bet cuz ive got no spades i do find myself betting more often than checking using the logic that if he has no spade or pair he will fold which in theory should be the majority of his range but then when he calls we check turn fold river sooo much

you can split your ranges into sd value w/ and w/o fd. You would still bet 3/4 of times but that will give you a solid randomizer.

i usually bet monoboards as it is diffucult for draws to continue (except fd obv). So when villain calls, that is usually solid fd or a pair. Very rarely oesd gutshots etc. Following this logic, you fold out more hands than normal. People are often more honest on monoboards, from what I have heard.
