Interesting hand, not sure what his flop call means or shove on river. What can i do here? Felt he obviously has air or strong hand. Is a call possible? The villain is quite fishy so...

Any way I could play this hand better? Feel i always struggle when a villain has position in this spot and calls my cbet.

I think in this spot, having in mind his stats, you should have bet also around 5BB on the turn. Like this you showed weakness and I think it is not a good idea to pot control with medium pair on that flop. If it was a K on the board, you're move was very good.

Also he called you with a very wide range so, I think he could bluff you 2 out of 3 times in this spot and he used his big stack to put pressure on you. So I would have called if you are playing to win.

this

Villain seems laggy fish. On this board you should be good majority of a time, I like beting flop and turn small for cheap showdown (checking back river). You get value from his overcards, Ax Kx highs and stuff. If he x/shoves turn then I fold.

As played, I think it is a fold as most bad players on micros overbet when they have it.

Yeah, I think he should bet on turn because he will get more information with a 5BB bet. I'm plying micros and when you check on turn a lot of laggy fish (like this one) are jamming on the river. If he would have bet on turn I and the villain called, most probably we would not try to bluff on the river. But as you said beeing micros, you don't know exactly what to expect

Cheers guys makes sense. Yes, I should barrel the turn for sure then maybe fold to any significant action. . Thanks again
