Hi everyone,

Over the last month or two, we've been having a lot of conversations in the mod forum about some forum reorganization, across the site. Those who visit the cash strat forums may have noticed that there have been quite a few changes there already.

The idea behind the forum changes is to:

1) Reduce confusion for new visitors, and existing members - we have a LOT of forums, and it's likely quite intimidating to try and find where to post things sometimes.

2) Help breathe life into some of the threads in the quieter forums. When people visit a forum that only gets a post every now and then, they're not likely to stick around or visit again. If we merge some of the quieter forums together, and/or in with busier ones, the increased traffic should encourage more participation. And when we merge related forums together, you will sometimes have people contributing to threads that they might not have before, because they were in a different forum that they weren't aware of/didn't bother with.

With those goals in mind, I think we have some moderator consensus on these changes to the Tournament forums:

Merge MS & HS MTT
MTTSNG - 18 Man to STT (I believe this may already be happening to some extent), everything else back into SS MTT, from whence it once came.

And then there is MTTc and MTTc - Live. There's been a little discussion of a merge, but there are concerns that may not work well. Another thought is to keep them as they are, and move MTTc - Live into a new "Live Poker" category we're considering for Home Poker, LCP, and its subforums. That really doesn't change much other than where it appears on the sidebar and in the forum list. But perhaps it's better where it is. Either way, a renaming of some sort is probably in order.

We welcome any and all feedback. I'd like to move forward on the first couple of changes by the weekend or next week, but if there appears to be some serious issues, it can always be delayed. If we make any MTTc changes, it would probably be a little later.

**MOD EDIT: On August 11, 2017, this forum was closed as per the plans outlined in this post. Current threads were moved to the SS MTT forum.

Re: **Forum changes being considered**

So if I understand correct it will be STT, 18 Man and MTTSNG as one forum?

Sounds fine given the low activity these days.

No, the plan is that MTTSNG will cease to exist.

STT will include 18mans, and the larger multi table SNGs (27,45,180,360) will once again be part of small stakes mtt

In all, we're looking at five forums reducing down to three forums

Re: **Forum changes being considered**

If I understand:

No change to HUSNG, MTTc or MTTc Live.

Suggest naming STT as just SNG then.

If we're rewriting forum FAQs at the same time can we get some standard format for hand history titles?
$1.50 45 man AQo on AAT
$1.50 MTT 65s preflop
