effectiveness of chip all in EV effectiveness of chip all in EV

hi,

i apologize if this is the wrong sub forum or whatever for this question, in reading the forum i see people hate that.

im playing 45man tourneys, just 1$ non turbos on stars. trying to assess if im just running bad or if im awful ahaha.

in cash games you can look at your all in ev line or whatever in pokertracker and get a sense of if your getting unlucky, but im wondering what merit the allin chip ev line has in mttsngs?

for example over 110 games im 170k chips below ev, and 230 bb below the all in ev for these games. over these games i've lost. not trying to whine about a downswing or variance just curious as to if people look at this to asses their running good/bad in mttsngs and if not what can i look at to asses this?

thanks,
Tim

don't care about it too much
doesn't account for when you won the chips/lost, e.g. losing a 1500 flip at 10/20 is more equity run bad than 1500 at heads up
doesn't account for cards dealt/situational run bad such as getting dealt bad or good cards more often than normal etc
i wrote a more detailed post in the mtt sng check up thread if this is too general
