What about those graphs seem so improbable to you?

If you're wondering why your chip graph is less impressive than your BB graph, it's because you aren't closing enough tournaments.

even if you're winning a massive ammount of big blinds per hand, you will be 3k chips negative (or whatever is the starting stack) at the end of a tournament if you finish it at any place that is not first.

so this chips graph basically tells you nothing.

Thats a fair assumption but wouldn't i have a bad ROI then?

That's very smart. Now we just need some graphs of other winning regs. I have one but he's a maniac, so his lines not look like mines even in the bbs

Check out your finish distribution on Sharkscope or in your database. If you're not coming 1st more frequently than other positions, your chip graph isn't going to grow. I wouldn't worry about that graph though, it really doesn't tell you anything useful.

Thanks in advance.

Go to reports, then position or stacksizes. Select everything then press the button under the slider, between the one that looks like a rubik's cube and the one that shows the prizes. In the box that appears click options and select bbs or chips

1) Doesn't matter where you're posting on 2+2, don't hotlink to images. It's one of the golden rules of this site, and helps to protect unsuspecting users from viewing NSFW images concealed by the link.

2) Don't worry too much about your chip results graphs, particularly when it comes to tourneys. I don't know what those graphs show, I didn't look (see my first point), but yeah, whatever happened, it's clearly possible, because it happened.

For instance, if you lost a 100million chip pot with KK<AA in a 1r 3x-turbo rebuy, it'll completely overshadow every other pot you've ever played and totally change the shape of your graph beyond recognition, but in the long run that one hand is essentially meaningless.

Instead, focus more on using your database to interrogate how you're doing at certain stack depths, or from certain positions, or with certain hands, or against certain types of villain.

It's super easy to stack some fish for 150 bb when you get AA at the beginning of a tourney, then butcher two 50bb stacks bluffing against good players quite a bit later, and in theory you're still up 50bb over those three hands, but in fact you might have played badly.

More generally, know the true meaning of what your database is actually telling you.

Good luck.
